I was actually using it last night in bed with the app called BIG SCREEN and there’s an environment in a bedroom where the video screen is on the ceiling of your bed and when you physically lie down, you actually see the screen on your ceiling inside the virtual world. It’s amazing for all you mentioned like RUclips, Netflix, browsing or all at once with multiple windows lmao
Great review! The quest 3 is really neat - I only can compare to the VR I tried years ago but I was blown away by how much more refined the VR experience felt.
The meta quest 3 allows for visual pass through similar to the Apple Vision Pro even though it’s much lower quality. these headsets have come a long way!
Ive had my quest 2 for over 3 years now and use it daily, im not big into VR gaming as there isnt many good games aimed at adults ('Into the Radius' is good but ive played it to death) but I use it all the time for RUclips
@@dennisrichards2540 have you tried the walking dead vr? A zombie game, and imo the best vr game asgards wrath 2 a massive story game with amazing visuals, story and combat. Or dungeons of eternity a multiplier dungeon exploration game where you fight monsters unlock more weapons etc. In all those games you don't fight innocent women

Sorry for the late reply! I use a third party cable from Amazon. As long as it states that it is compatible with the quest 3 and is deemed a data cable, youre good

@@RADERFPV I hear you man. My computer tends to go full blast when I’d play something so graphically demanding. Computers are getting more affordable and even laptops now running a 4060 can run VR smoothly. Wishing you luck with the sim racing, my friend!
Depends on what you're looking for. The lenses will be the same, so games like beat saber won't be any different. Basically, do you want pass-through? Do you want a better processor and for the headset to last longer as the quest 2 is now discontinued and will stop supporting newer games? Is pass-through and future proofing worth $300 us dollars to you? I ordered it as it'll be my first quest, and I don't care about the lens quality being worse than the regular 3, but it's different for everyone
@@paolocee I got the Q3 and it very good, but not mind blowing coming from Q2, if ya get 3S I think ya get maximum an “okayishhh” feeling. I invest my Q2 + 50% of what it worth in cash to get the Q3, I think more than 50% it becomes a “non upgrade worthwhile”, wait for the Quest 4. BUT could be to soon, Im just 8hours on it. (Q3) there is time for a mindset changes.
They dropping my Quest 3 tomorrow, cant wait for it, coming from a Quest 2. Can you believe I can get very good results (max settings 90FPS) matched with a 4070 Super? will it be Night n Day for PCVR gigs? tks

There’s a bunch of games geared towards adults.
There are alot of 18+ games tho. Like blade and socery ( a sword fighting game), zombie games, story games and so much more

I want the quest 3 for Sim racing so bad, but there's no way my 1660 super will keep up. PC upgrade first, then I'm definitely getting the Quest 3.

Verizon had a deal for $355, had to grab one cant beat that deal.
