Nice to watch, especially knowing my LJ was one of less than 9000 made in its configuration in 05 and less than 15k overall. I'm not surprised when someone tries to buy it.
Since it is already two pieces i am surprised they didn't make the bottom half up to the roll bars so they didn't have to be chopped off. Then have the top bolt on from there...
Can't you put weatherstrip under the bulkhead or maybe some slit fuel or vac hose to make a clean seal without that shitty caulk? It would be more clean looking maybe.
The top itself is probably around 75 lbs. Not much just awkwardly balanced and usually takes 2 from the sides to take it off. We can walk it off from the back sometimes.
Cool video but could you please not use scotch lock connectors. They are junk and only invite corrosion. Solder and heatshrink is the best way.

Nice process and looks fantastic.
Thank you for the video I’m thinking of doing the same thing
Great looking top.
Don’t know why people are hating, I enjoyed the video. And honestly would do it if money wasn’t a factor 😅.
would love to this to my 1993 YJ
It looks like it can be designated a TJ-8 Wrambler. Part Wrangler TJ, part scrambler CJ-8.
I suddenly want this :O
Love it
@gr8tops I have a 1992 yj what do I need to with my rollbar
For the price, installation should be free at your shop.

Some of us are lucky enough to have a real scrambler👍🏻
We’ve got one as well, build series coming soon

You should have cleaned up more during the install.
Would this fit a Mahindra Roxor with modifications?
Nothing currently for the ROXOR
How much does it weigh ?

Love the top, but I hate that GIANT logo on the bulkhead. It’s looking like a billboard
What's the price on this top?
2800 plus add ons
The price is ridiculous I want it so bad but probably never gonna happen
Looks cool on the outside but cheep on the inside.
Goofy looking I’ll keep the soft top
Nice! Looks like shit, costs a fortune and best of all, you chopped the factory roll bar butchering a piece of history lmfao! VERY COOL!
mk319mod0 they still make TJ’s? That’s what I thought nerd stay mad
@@poopee34 if you don't like this you'll hate pretty much everyone else who owns a jeep and mods it
I would rather hammer my balls flat with a rubber mallet than destroy my Jeep with that monstrosity
@@barryrose8360 Agreed. Buy a Scrambler instead spending a fortune on that ugly ass top.
Probably cheaper to buy the top, then to buy a Scrambler at this point.
