Here's a script for a video from a REAL LG experience:
We bought a dryer from LG, and it never came. Their delivery company cancelled the delivery 3 times (the night before, each time, with no cause) over the course of nearly 3 weeks. So, like normal people, we decided to try get a new dryer from somewhere else. We cancelled our LG dryer order, and requested a refund.
Refund? not so fast!!
LG: Refund will only be issued when the dryer is returned to the main warehouse.
US: But, we don't have the dryer.
LG: The delivery company needs to return it.
US: Oh. But, that's your delivery company. And... they don't deliver very well, so... that doesn't seem fair.
LG: You'll just have to wait until they give us back the dryer, for your $1000+ refund.
US: How long is that going to take?
LG: It could take 2-4 weeks, and once returned, up to 5 business days to get the refund.
US: Up to 5 weeks to get our money back, when you already have the dryer? We never got the dryer. We need the money to buy a dryer for real.
LG: When you cancel an order, you have to return the product to get your money back.
US: I think that rule only applies when the customer actually receives the product. But we never got the dryer. Your own delivery company says they have the dryer!!
This is not $20 here, this is over a grand, and you're telling me you have the dryer, and you have the money, but you're not giving the money back until you've moved the dryer to some other warehouse??
LG: Order Management says that is our policy.
US: Order Management?? Order Management?? You don't have Order Management. If you did, we'd have gotten our order already!
LG: Sir, is there anything else I can help you with?
US: Just issue my refund today, that's all.
LG: I'm sorry sir, but as I've already explained, we cannot issue a refund until we have the product back.
US: You have the product!!
LG: Sir, we are going around in circles and if there is nothing else I am going to end this call.
And that, folks, is a REAL, HONEST, LG experience.
