Great video. Can you tell me if it’s possible to wall mount this monitor? It looks like there are screws under where the bracket clips in that could maybe be used for wall mount
Thank you! hmmm as you can see in the video it has a unique attachment method, so Im not sure if there is a mount for it that can be attached to the wall! LG has a wall mount for monitors but I dont know if it is for this one
Credible unboxing and overview. Upbeat music a definite plus. Customary to include pricing info. Do you color-calibrate your monitor for photographic use?
Thank youu Paul, Im glad you liked it! The price is different between countries and changes, I got it in a pre-order discount, so it was cheaper and then it was more valuable than the competitors. I didn’t calibrate it so far. Im still trying to see if the normal settings produce accurate colors or not.
That’s a 3D printed stand. I have a 3D printer so I downloaded the design from the internet and printed the part at home. Did you want the link to the 3D Design or you wanted to know where to buy the part from?
I want to replace the current one with a monitor arm/stand that I can clamp to the desk and adjust but no luck so far because of size and weight of the 43inch .
Thank you for making a video on this monitor! Yours is the only one I could find that wasn’t sponsored (those are honestly annoying when you wanna hear an honest review bc if they get something like this for free they’re not gonna say it’s shit lol). I’m also really confuse on why the eu version is not getting the web cam which is clearly a big selling point when you look at reviews! Are there any cons you’ve figured out after using it for some time?
Thank you for your comment! Im glad I was able to do an unsponsored video, luckily I was looking for a monitor to buy. I am surprised as well that they don't give a webcam with it! LG is a bit weird I don't understand. I have been using it so far and aside from the bad sound quality it is perfect for me. let me know if you have a specific question.
After saw your video, I've bought one. But I feel too bright when working at night. May I ask your monitor setting in terms of brightness, saturation and HDR level?
Congrats! Im glad the video helped you. I am using standard settings, I reduce the brightness when its dark, and I activate the Eye Care Mode when Im not editing colors.
I dont know if its a kvm switch, but the mouse and keyboard can be used for different entities and switch when you switch between the modes, also you can connect multiple PCs through the USB C and the HDMI
I was searching in my area for a screen with good price & with a Mac device, and I found your video . Thank you very much for your help and information. But does the cable come with the screen or not ? I need to attach the link, please? Thank you again 👍🙏
Im glad that my video helped you 🙏 and good luck in your search. If you are talking about the USB-C cable, no it doesn’t come with it. You will have to buy it separately. It comes with HDMI
Thanks for video. I have a question. Have you tried to use detachable LG camera which comes with the package. The thing is that, I couldn't find the way to connect this camera to macbook (air with M1 chip.) It opens with the internal app of LG monitor, but not on Mac which is connected via HDMI cable. Could anyone share if have some suggestion?
Hello, I didn't receive the camera unfortunately, however I think I know the problem, you need to connect with a USB-C cable, the HDMI cable doesnt transfer data I think. I might be wrong but that is my guess.
hello I bought 32SR83U-W I am using the zoom meeting application from my laptop computer I want to transfer the image to the monitor and I want the monitor's camera to work in the zoom application

Congrats! Yes the sound is terrible! You can connect speakers with bluetooth. I have a theory that you can also connect 3.5 jack if you have the adapter to usb-c. But I haven’t tested that. I have connected bluetooth headphones though.
Quick question, how do you connect external speaker using this monitor? (when you are using the webos and stuff) I dont prefer bluetooth speaker though.
Hi, hmm you can connect a USB Speaker maybe, or use those adapters that come with the new phones (USB-C to 3.5 jack). Im not sure if it work though, try it first.
Could somebody please tell me how high the monitor is in its highest and its lowest position? I tried asking LG, but the question seems to be too difficult for them. And how easy is it to access the ON/OFF button on the back?
When the monitor is at the lowest its 7.5 cm from the table to the lower edge of the monitor, When the monitor is at the highest it is around 19 cm from the table to the lower edge of the monitor. The monitor is around 42 cm high. the ON/OFF button is in the back, it is not that hard to reach, however it is not really an ON/OFF button, it opens a menu and then you choose OFF. Otherwise you have a remote control. If you want to see something, look for me on instagram and I will take photos of the monitor for you, my instagram is anas_mussa
@@AnasMussa Thanks. Maximum available height here is 54 cm if I leave the plateau in. 42 + 7.5 = 49.5 so it should fit. The remote will get me to the same menu as the button on the back? I'm not on instagram, sorry.
Glad to help! the menu from the the button is smaller when you press the button, but in that small menu (4 options) you have an option to access the big menu that you get from the remote.
What is different from this and a normal monitor? Why is this called a smart monitor. Can it still be used for gaming or would that be a waste? That's basically all I want it for. So many questions. Thanks in advance.
Hey, it’s called smart because it connects online and has streaming services and “computer-like” features. It can be used for gaming, however there are ones that are designed for gaming and have a higher refresh rate. I hope that helps and feel free to ask.
@@AnasMussa Yes, thank you. The thing I like about this monitor is its 4k capabilities though and the fact that it looks great. Does it go portrait as well as landscape, too. And last question, sorry, will this work on a pc as well? I do not own anything Apple I am strictly a pc guy. Thank you.
Yea I like that it is 4K as well, even though 2560 x 1440 might be enough, I wanted 4K for the future. No the monitor doesn’t rotate to vertical unfortunately. And yes it works on PC as well, my work laptop is windows and I use it on the monitor as well. Feel free to ask anything 🙏
There are 27 inches monitors from LG, which I was considering, but 4K might be too much on a 27 inch, and I wanted something for the future. At work I use 27 inches from Lenovo. Which is really good, but I have another 24 inch as a second monitor next to it. With the 32 inch I only need one monitor.
Hi, I just bought this monitor and it’s really amazing. I just have a small problem and I thought maybe you have encountered it and found a solution. So I connect my Mac mini to it with a thunderbolt cable and my peripherals are connected to the monitor. But when the device goes to sleep the usb ports are not working as well so I can’t turn the Mac back on by clicking the mouse or keyboard. Am I doing something wrong?
I have that problem, and for me I have to remove the macbook from the docking station and turn it on then put it back. Or remove my mouse usb and connect it to the macbook. I am thinking for my next mouse or keyboard upgrade to buy those that connect via bluetooth to multiple devices and you can switch between devices using a button on the mouse or the keyboard. Im not sure if that will work, does the mac connect to bluetooth devices while asleep? But it’s a possible solution. Probably there are other solutions I just didn’t get the time to dig deep and fix it. I will let you know if I found another solution.
@@AnasMussa thanks for your response. I actually found a way that works. If you have a usb c hub that can take pass through charging, you can connect the hub to the monitor an externally charge it. When the tv goes to sleep you’ll still need the remote to turn it on, but after wards you don’t need to replug. Hope this helps
@@AnasMussa Actually not really, I double taped it to the back of the monitor for better cable management( Velcro would be a better alternative) and I’m using it only for pherephirals and with this, one of the usb c ports of the Mac is kept open so i can use it for high speed needs like an NVME enclosure. I did try the Bluetooth thing and I does work, I have a cheap Bluetooth mouse and when I click it while the display is in sleep, it brings it back

🤔 my eyes feel comfortable when I use it long time though. I’m happy with the contrast and Im a photographer, I do photo editing on it. Just saying my experience so far
I havent seen any IPS panel which has 1:700 contrast ratio. Unnecessary, uninformative comment without seen or reviewing the monitor. Also comparing this montitor with a OLED monitor which at least twice the price of best IPS panels is funny. At the end we are lucky. You would compare it with Apple Pro Display XDR and you would say Apple is better.
Most content we watch is 24 or 30 fps. The Hz isn't the reason your eyes hurt it's screen flicker and blue light. Plus oleds ARE good! That's why they cost 2 to 3 times what a nice LED panel would. This is like telling the person buying Honda Civic that a Ferrari is better.
Perfect fit for the tiny desk you got! I like how minimalistic and efficient the whole set is. Keep nourishing us!
Thank youu Omar! I’m glad you liked the video and the desk setup!
@@AnasMussa Isn't it too close to the monitor for that size
