I got to say. Out of all the RC videos that I watch. Ur the first that I've seen to cut a connector off a RTR to put a Dean's connector on. Unless it's a Tamiya connector.. cool video and Rig 👍
Angry Dave, I'm angry Renner. Just unboxed my beautiful new RC4WD TF2 Xtracab and the factory packaging literally stripped off most of the chrome finish on the front bumper. I'm so angry right now.
That blows. I'd be pissed to. And you can get a new one, but it'll be a huge pain in the ass. Sorry to hear that, but it'll give you an excuse to buy a sweet new bumper. (Bright side!) -"Angry Dave"

@@AngryDavesADULTRC gotcha! Maybe if people request it enough we'll get them, RC4WD is pretty good about supply and demand if there is a enough demand for them.
Oh, it will definitely work. The issue is whether or not I feel like doing the work. The body will need to be completely disassembled, then wet-sanded. Then, once it's sprayed you have to spend some time color sanding the orange peel out of the clear. Then it has to be polished to get the shine back. It adds up to quite a bit of work. If done right it will look amazing, that fact is the only thing that keeps me thinking about doing it. We'll see... Thanks for watchin'! -"Angry" Dave
I usually take the smallest leaf and move it from the bottom of the pack to the top. The I'll do the o-ring and chino mods. Once the springs break in some it'll flex great. Thanks for watchin'! -"Angry" Dave
@@sprather84 Put rubber o-rings between the axle housing and the leaf pack, and on top of the leaf pack. Then run your bolts through. Use washers under your screw heads to retain the top set of rings. Just tighten until the o-rings start to squish down. Use thread locker and let it set for the full 24 hours before driving. I got my o-rings at Home Depot. They';re cheap. I forget what size, but you want them to fit snug around the screw. They allow the leaf packs to flex a bit independently from the axle housing. This mod couples very well with the chino mod. Any additional flexibility helps a lot with leaf rigs. -"Angry" Dave
Did you notice a lot of slop in the drivetrain? I watched another video of the TF2 and it had tons of play in the transmission. Was wondering if they fixed that in the TF3? That midnight edition looks badass!
I don't really notice much in the trans, the TF2s I've seen tend to have some slop in the axles (which can appear to be coming from the trans), but it doesn't seem to affect anything. Most of that can be shimmed out if you really want to beat the shit out of it. Thanks! -"Angry" Dave
Not when they're new. After it gets run a few times the springs will loosen up and it will have much more. There are also several free mods that will increase flex in leaf sring rigs. Check out my vids with my TF2 Blazer, that thing has loads of flex. Thanks for watchin'! -"Angry" Dave
Good looking truck. I forgot about this Midnight edition. My favorite color is clear. JK. Can't wait to see what scale items you add. Don't forget to put those body screws in from the backside so you don't have to screw them anymore! I also moved the battery tray by flipping it (forward) over so its on the other side of the transfer case to add more weight bias to the front. 00
I might have to add your favorite color to it to make that black POP. I haven't decided how to scale it out yet, but you'll find out sooner or later. I'll have to try that with the batt tray. I'll try to eliminate the screws completely. I might go magnet, we'll see. Thanks for watchin' bro! -"Angry" Dave
