That Bass player is awesome, totally into the tune.
RIP Bob, best fleetwood mac song ever.
GREAT TUNE!!!
Beautiful rendition of a masterpiece !
As a big fan of Bob Welch, I have to say nice job!
damn those Gibson acoustics sound amazing :O
fabulous
Great cover of an oft overlooked Bob Welch / Fleetwood Mac composition, circa 1972 (later re-released as a solo by Bob when he left Fleetwood Mac in 1977). Excellent rhythm section work, effortless harmonies. Keep up the splendid work, guys!!
Beautiful job on a lovely song. No wonder Wilco always sounds almost angelic. :-)

This is my favorite cover if this song. Awesome
Great job!!! For those who don't know..this is the Fleetwood Mac version from the album Bare Trees. Still Bob's song that he did when he was in the group.
My wife and I dated in the 70's ...Bare Trees was our jam all through our courtship...
Gggreat!!! Specially those fat bass lines!
Nice cover!!!
These guys are awesome!!!
That bass player is feeling it!!!!
Reminiscent of a new Simon and Garfunkel meets America!! Great harmonies and thanks for keeping it true to its roots!! Great cover!! I can “hear” Christine!!
Fab Bass Playing Along With Everything Else!
Just add, "All I need is you," vocal and it's perfect.
Beautiful . I loved Christine McVie .

LAAAA...RAAAJJAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!
Guys- sounds great.
I've heard this song played in 3 or 4 different sets of lyrics.
Bob Welch's official version does not even include "WE LIVE IN A TIME WHEN PAINTINGS HAVE NO COLOR, WORDS NO RHYME."
Not only do these guys include that part, but they also double-up and sing it twice.
Not sure why.
Probably the only weakness of this video is them duplicating that verse. No reason to do it, and it caused this version to go on for too long.
Otherwise, I like this video and watch it regularly.
We'll improvise. Put the snare drum on two stools. NICE! Great band. Wasn't that guitar player on the right a regular on SNL? haha
Great playing and singing. What chords are you using for intro? I'm looking everywhere for something that works. Thanks
Bob Welch!
Wow, Simon and Garfunkel move over...
thats great...this is a Bob Welch song not Buckingham trouble :/, he does sing and play guitar on the solo remake
Nice. I love it. Did some add on. Very good. Would be even better, if you had a female doing the back up singing. Still great though.
Bass player is entertaining
0:35 When meaning falls in splinters from our lives...not "from our minds."
lol oops
I don't see that there's much difference, in rhythm, in melody, in phrasing, or in semantics.
@@KeithRowley "...in rhythm, in melody, in phrasing, or in semantics." None of that even matters! Any arbitrary deviation from scripture is heresy! (The most common accepted deviation is that for gender.)
@@KeithRowley I disagree. It changes the color slightly. Words do matter. It's not a huge difference...but it is a difference for me. Still, a very pretty take on this tune.
You all sound great but you need a better bass player.
Someone's jealous
Fantastic!!
very cool
