I love it and I used an upside down garbage can and a lantern with Xmas lights inside of the pumpkin head that were tangled up LOL and extension cord, and plugged in. Great idea!! I used an old sheet.
Thanks for the tip on the white tablecloths. I'm heading to Dollarama today. However, instead of foam balls, just use a soccer or basketball, or even a plastic bowl.
I'm wondering if a clear plastic bowl would work for the top? If you can find one on the cheap. The brim might have to be played with - melted or cut off depending of the bowl.
Does it rain or will it rain on it? It will deteriorate in one season and if you get something sturdy you could Reuse ♻️ ghost 👻 it will in my city, it’s raining, morning dew and windy autumn 🍂
Sticker price on EVERYTHING is ridiculous 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ This turned out INCREDIBLY 👍🏼🌹thanks for sharing 🙏 the shadowing makes him look like his wearing a hat 👍🏼👍🏼
I bought the two foam balls on Amazon , sweater pumpkins at Dollar tree , felt dollar tree, tons of tomato cages at Lowe's. And I also bought those big dome cloches at dollar tree to make the head a bit bigger I'm keeping them in my house so i bought Sherpa fleece blankets for both of them too.
next time try using a white nylon sieve with the handle cut off, or stiffen a round of mosquito net or cheesecloth with a sugar or glue solution (if you have ants) and set it over a beach ball to get a see through head :)
I say pay up and get the styrofoam and it will last for many years, I’d store it and use it over and over. Also there is ghost 👻 BUCKETS 🪣 like the candy JackOLantern 🎃 I used for my witch 🧙🏽♀️
I went to Walmart and they had so many tomato cages. I bought mine one for 1.50. They had green ones for $2.50 I also bought fabric from the fabric section that was $2.17 a yard. I used my 40% coupon from joanns and got a foam ball.
I second the clear plastic bowl from the dollar tree. That's what I did. Turned out great!
How did you securely attach plastic 🥣?
Very good tips
How did you get it to stay in place
Try using the long bamboo skewers from dollar tree.. a bowl instead of a Styrofoam ball. Great ideas on how to keep the costs down!

So cute! And yours is a much better deal for something that you only use 1 time of the year for maybe a month Thanks for sharing yours
Thanks so much! 😊

I have been down the styrofoam ball shopping before! Insane your video is great! Terrible how other videos don’t mention the cost!

What about putting the tomato cage upside right and fitting a clear plastic bowl in the top circle???
I never thought of the paper maca for the head. thats one reason I hadnt made one . I am not spending that much on the form ball.

Thank you!!Looks great!!
I used tomato cages and made witches with bags. Then the following year I made a fire 🔥 pit. It turned out amazing! The fire pit looked realistic.
Wish comments could add photos:) sounds cute
Do you have a pic or video?
Funny when I saw the price of the foam ball, I immediately thought nope, use paper mache. Glad I waited to comment, lol.
Has anyone attempted beach ball or using balloon with the balloon stake adapter?
You should have used a pumpkin candy basket for the head. Cheap and you don't need to do much
I'm making this but I'm using a dollar tree foam skull already picked it up.

That is awesome!
It looks like it has a cute hair cut though. 🙂

Hi how much did u spend for the diy project?
I don't remember the exact amount but it was under $10
If you had an old glass or clear plastic bowl, you could eliminate that shadow on the head completely.
A clear bowl is defiantly the way to go if you can find one without too much of a flat bottom! That's what I'll look for if I ever make these again!
Hope you used battery operated lights to prevent the plastic table cloths from melting or catching fire.
I ended up using LED lights that don't get hot just to be safe! I linked them in the description🙂
@@TheOldCountryPorch Great, thanks!😊
A clear plastic bowl from dollar tree would fix your problem
👻 The moral of the story I’d pay up for the styrofoam ball ⚽️ and save time and it will last for years and years.
Id use the white lights not yellow.
