Does anyone know if this will affect medical cannabis cardholders when it comes to purchasing a firearm? I would think it would. Currently you can't pass a federal background check if you have a medical cannabis card in a state that issues such cards. (And if you answer honestly, you can't pass that federal background check if you use cannabis recreationally.)
I wanted to buy a shotgun recently for sport and home defense, and was extremely disgusted with that fact that, largely thanks to republicans, I couldn't do so because I have a medical cannabis card.
