When Craftsman released the V Series ratchets I was kind of excited. They have the same styling as the Mac Axis and Proto ratchets at a more reasonable price. Neither my local Lowe's or Ace Hardware carry the V Series so I haven't been able to do a hands on inspection. I don't like the fact that the V Series ratchets are sealed and not serviceable. Grease and oil dry over time and need to be replaced. These ratchets are disposable. Considering the price point of the V Series, I feel there are many better options that can be had for less.
I am interested in seeing you do a live video about the DOD delete. GM really hit a home run with the original 5.3 and 6.0 engines. They really shot themselves in the foot with the Active Fuel Management system.

I am not impress with the craftsman V and just like you I was excited and I tried over and over to stay with them I have always been a die hard craftsman person. I just dont see the ratchets holding up but I may be wrong time will tell.

@@PapasHobbyGarage I have a Craftsman Professional 3/8 flex head ratchet with the black plastic handle. It's 36 tooth, has the quick release, and a ball detent in the flex joint. I bought it to use in my road service tool set because it reminded me of my Mac flex head ratchet that stayed at the shop. It is my most used ratchet since the Mac was stolen.

It varies. Some are junk others are good.

These ratchets are a poor representations of their tools. But I like their sockets, screwdriver, and their ratcheting combination wrenches. But I'm turning into a tool junkie, so I like them all. LOL.
