Port is the epitome of a pretender. They don’t possess anything that resembles a serious contender. At times they can be deceptive and play scintillating football but against true competition they capitulate.

Port beating Collingwood must be viewed as a non-negotiable. Collingwood’s form has been below expectation and Port’s form doesn’t indicate anything meaningful. If Port are truely on an upward trajectory they need to make a statement.
Collingwood just beat Brisbane comfortably at the Gabba two games ago and are also the number one pressure side over that time. Port have lost to Melbourne at home and scraped over the line against Fremantle at home. Collingwood are almost at full strength and playing at a ground they rarely lose at. I don’t get your confidence
@@JCStorm76Haha “Rarely lose at the Ground” If your talking about the MCG this year Collingwood have played 2 games at the MCG they lost both and 1 against Sydney and against St Kilda. Port fans like myself have the right to go in feeling a little confident

@@JCStorm76 I’m guessing your comprehension skills are limited. I didn’t indicate any confidence. I merely stated if Port wants to be viewed as a contender they need to win these types of games. Brisbane were out of form when they lost to Collingwood. Collingwood’s form within games has been suspect.

In Adelaide, The players were having captains run this morning at Alberton Oval so I assume it was done at Alberton. Think there flying to Melbourne this afternoon probably around now.
