RIP MC Conrad. Shocked to wake up to the news. It was a dream of mine to see LTJ and Conrad together. I saw LTJ for the first time last week. Unfortunately it never happened. This masterpiece will have to be the closest i’ll come to seeing him live.
He was truly amazing to watch in the flesh. Total professional on the stage and a friendly guy off it. He took time to speak to the ravers. Will be missed

The beauty of MC Conrad was that he had a voice that flowed with the music. He wasn't blaring his vocals over the music like other main event MCs. He truly had a style that fit the music he was performing on and made the music an experience. RIP MC Conrad

Well said! He efficiently and so methodically added to the overall feeling and emotion from the music. And those vocals are so precious! He gave it an entire level above what was being spun. He was the absolute icing, the cherry on top and the soul to what LTJ was selecting 🫶🏻 To have a man selecting his soul through music and another one bleeding his own through vocals for us was a perfect match
I feel so honored to have danced and pranced during this era and before. In my humble opinion the music, the vibe, and the people were of a higher vibrational frequency. What an incredible set.
I remember this set! God damn amazing! Conrad was larger than life on the stage and Bukem was a genius! Mid set he was past blunts by the crowd and happily obliged. Such a legendary night. Whole crowd was vibin. Met Makoto and deezim at the bar too, a night to never forget. RIP Conrad. Your sound will live on.
Those were the days! Drum&Bass isn’t quite as magical as it was back then. Record shops and physical media, physical, magazines and even the websites were so prevalent and the community was just vibing hard! Firing on all cylinders all across the globe. Obviously the community is still here but I think you know what I mean. A special stretch of time

At the peak of their powers, Bukem & Conrad were probably the greatest Dj Mc duo d&b will ever see. No other MC could slide into the moods & grooves & atmospheres of a Bukem set & elevate the soundscape like Conrad.... Gone but we'll never forget you. RIP Conrad.

It's a heartbreaking loss to bid farewell to Brother Conrad, but his memory will live on forever in our hearts. He made an immense contribution to the UK Hip Hop and Drum n Bass scene, and we'll always remember him for that. May his soul rest in peace.

i agree,conrad absolutely the best jungle MC,knew how to work a crowd. for techno,i think it depends. happy hardcore I'd say majika,for deeper tech stuff I'd say ribbz wos good, he knew when to spit and didn't ruin the music.

I almost didn't graduate on time and was ready to give up...was really struggling with my thesis. I put on your live sets with LTJ in the background and let them play for days while I worked endlessly under the stars and through the nights. You and the Universe got me through it and I graduated on time. This set is one of my favorites. Rest in peace to one of the most powerfully positive MCs on the mic. He's spoken so much life into me though the years, y'all.

Currently that ambient is dead. Sadly. Even the same artists are not able to make such works as back on those days (90s and early 00s). The currently music is not bad. But it is soulless. It doesn't touch your senses. It sounds rather, "streaked", more strident. One will never get tired to listening their old artworks. But with currently music, you listen it twice or three times, and you'll get tired. Such masters like PFM, Makoto, Bukem, Blu Mar Ten, Blame, Seba, Rantoul, etc, etc. With such artworks like Progression Sessions, Earth, Logical Progression, Producer, Points In Time... Those sounds were able to lift you linking you to the infinity sky. And the ambient in the gigs looked AWESOME, AMAZING. Nevermind if listening into a warm, cold or foggy night. Really, that old music is special. But now. Almost I can say they have lost their magic. I don't know why. But it's not the same. Maybe due to following the "mainstream" sounds. Money. I don't know. Veterans counts there were a drug called "Mescalina". Them describe it as a smooth drug. No angry nor stupid behaviors with this substance, most sounds were original and special too. I learned about LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad when I was 11 years old in 98. My neighbors friend was a dj and introduced me to endless amazing electronic music. This is a truly beautiful iteration of electronic music's progression. If only I were old enough to have gone myself. That would've been amazing.

bukem's style is unique,he's very experimental with his music,and conrad is absolutley the perfect MC for this.had the pleasure of DJ'ing with both of them guys many years ago,both lovely guys.

I learned about LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad when I was 11 years old in 98. My neighbors friend was a dj and introduced me to endless amazing electronic music. This is a truly beautiful iteration of electronic music's progression. If only I were old enough to have gone myself. That would've been amazing.
