Lost a great talent at age of 91 died peacefully in his sleep He was an amazing person, extraordinary musician and a member of my extended family. I will miss him. I knew Tony when he and his brother played bluegrass and Bobby also with the Green Valley Ramblers.
A number of years ago prior to a show at the Flynn Theater in Burlington, VT which my band, The Starline Rhythm Boys, opened for Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, I stood on the empty stage after sound check with just Bobby and that beautiful 5-string fiddle with the carved head and asked if he'd play this number of me. What a thrill - I had goose bumps - it was just beautiful with nothing but Bobby and that fiddle. He's absolutely one of the very best and can cut bluegrass (esp. the twin fiddle harmony part) as well as western swing.

Hope I can play that good when I’m 91… hope I’m still playing then. Great composition from a 10 time Grammy winner.
RIP Bobby.
Beautiful Maiden's Prayer, play it through the gates; they'll all like it.

I am sure he will be reunited with Kenny Baker and that beautiful “Panhandle Country” duet will reverberate in heaven.
Ive had my 137 year old fiddle for almost 50 years, I never learned to play it, but I do want to learn maidens prayer before I pass.
Bobby...do not listen to any of the negative comments! You did really great!
Truly unique.
His 5-string fiddle sounds great; course it's got a great driver...
Wow!!
The melody of this song was composed by a Polish lady (then 17) Tekla Bądarzewska-Baranowska, in 1856.
No soap
All you judgy folks, let's hear YOU play it better. Just sayin.
Prefer the original over anything being changed. IMO.
My 13 year-old-cousin plays this much better. She plays with her heart.
Cubby wise is so much better
Bobby is great but some of this sounded sour if you ask me. I've heard way better versions of Maiden's Prayer than this
Give him a break. It was beautiful.
Not great but tolerable.
