That's awesome! You did so great with this. Keep going! :) How/Where did you learn that? I wanna learn that song too but I don't know where (I can't read notes tho)

Thank you!! I kinda elaborated on it in the description but basically I wrote this myself so there’s no sheet music or anything. I don’t even know how I would do it lol

Hiii! This was amazing! I'm new to piano and I'd like to ask if you've ever taken classes or if you were self taught. If you were self taught how did you learn how to play with two hands? is it eventually just muscle while reading notes? i struggle with using two hands at once and I'd love any tips ! T_T

Thank you so much! I’m not self taught, I’ve been taking classes for some years now.
I’d say it becomes muscle while reading notes when it’s a song I know really well, especially if I’m just playing it from memory, cause in that case I remember where my hands go rather than remember the notes (which is kind of like muscle memory I think). It’s the same for the songs I write since there’s no sheet music, I can kind of play it subconsciously and think about other things, while songs I just started playing need more of my attention. Becoming muscle while reading notes doesn’t just happen tho. Trust me I wish I could look at a song and just play it while reading the notes, I don’t even think my teacher can do that. I know it’s cliche but practice really does make perfect!
Sometimes it’s best not to dive in with using two hands in songs right away, and play one part at a time. Learn the right hand part, than the left hand part (or vice versa), and then try to integrate them together. Even when I write songs, I sometimes write one hand’s whole part before writing the other. When putting them together, it’s best to start slow and work your way faster. I’m impatient so I like to play faster sooner lol but sometimes if I struggle with part of faster pieces, it’s good to practice slower for a bit and try to remind myself where my fingers go before working back to playing it faster
Sorry this is long but I hope it helps! Good luck!

@@imaauthorpeeps2585 Omg thank you so much for this whole thing, this was SO SO SO helpful! :D I see, it becomes muscle memory after a while which makes sense. I'm planning on taking piano lessons this summer so hopefully that will help haha, keep on with the great work! This was a great cover of Todoroki's theme :) You're so inspiring!
