I've never seen what looks to be such effortless playing and heard it produce such power and emotion so flawlessly so perfectly, he has no "boo boos" there's never a oops or a wrong note moment. It's power precision accuracy and emotion from start to finish "always" I love what he does and how he does it. I love the inspiration, he will forever blow my mind!
Yngwie is always “on.” There are countless videos of him sitting in a chair with a guitar, during an interview or off the cuff (wherever), and he is always on. This is because he is a true guitarist, a true musician. That is probably the most overlooked aspect of his talent. The man lives, breathes, and emanates music. His incredible speed, precision, and mastery of technique does not cause his playing but accompanies his true sense of music. This, to me, is what really makes him stand out among all those in his class.
@@Dreamdancer11 He had to relearn how to use his picking hand. Many compare his pre- and post-accident playing and claim that he’s lost proficiency. I’ve studied his picking technique, but I don’t see it. If anything, he developed even more efficiency since the accident. I’ve never followed Yngwie for his music; just not a big fan of the style. But as a guitarist and musician, he is virtually unsurpassed. Down to picking, no one at his level is better. None (save Paul Gilbert and Eric Johnson) use his kind of approach that combines perfect physiological positioning and movement in conjunction with the physics of string movement to produce the perfect balance between accuracy, tone, percussion, fluidity, and speed.
@@scottstedeford7575 Yep...100% agree. Most of players today whether they dig his music or not have studied his style of play and internalised several parts of it if not all....that wide perfect vibrato, those effortlessly picked(sometimes economy picked sometimes not) runs, his economy of motion, tilting and pickslanting of the pick...the man created a whole school of guitar playing and i dont think anyone can dispute that....
0:28 - 0:30 It looks like Yngwie is going to do one of his runs but hits a wrong note. then turns it into a short chromatic lick to cover the note. Not even gonna call that a mistake. Just shows how good he is and how fast he can adapt/improvise

All that sound even more impressive if you add to the fact that the had a serious accident and almost lost the movement to his right hand.....

4:30 he really hits the notes, it's impressive... Maestro
40 years on and Yngwie still leaves me speechless!
That vibrato is ridiculous🤯
Yep! One of the finest if not the finest vibratos ever!
El mejor vibrato
So is the jewellery!
Total mastery of the instrument.
Still crazy...😮 what a feeling.....total control.
Not just fast but with lots of emotion. He did it so effortless
Effortlessly!
❤
He fixed the tuning on his high e string while he was ripping …. Lol just insane.
People make fun of him but that was some incredible playing the bends the sweeps everything yngwie is awesome 👌
Such a beautiful piece to play on the air guitar
That's as good as it gets anywhere in the universe folks. Enough said.
He’s amazing to watch. I never grow tired of watching him just shred the strings off his axe.
Yngwie is God's gift to the instrument of guitar.
The history of guitar playing is divided into before and after yingwie.
Yes sir!
B.Y and A.Y
Joe says hello?!

🤯🤯🤯
Very similar to "I am a viking"
Holy hell...what a racket!
Fortunately video has 2 cameras on the same time in order to make clear how to play that parts
Well done 😊
If god could talk, this is what he would say😂
Wonder how folk compare him to Shawn Lane
D major g major a .major 4 ti
Es b minor a major 4 timez g flat is f sharp minor I'm out side
Where's the Melody?
2:12
Was this even a song? Just sounded like Yngwie practicing all his signature licks over and over 🤔
Yeah, it's an improvised (no sh*t) instrumental version of the tune Priest of the Unholy. The album solo is even better
That's what improvising is.
@@epic103 sure, but this is not called Yngwie Malmsteen improvising, its f*cking called "Yngwie Malmsteen Priest Of The Unholy" god damn it
@@felipeaguena5289 - He's improvising over the Priest Of The Unholy backing track.

Que pena.. Con lo bueno que es y en lo que se ha comvertido
Even his guitar playing SOUNDS ARROGANT / BORING
Sí, algunas canciones están bien...pero otras son mucho de nada, tiene buena velocidad, por momentos satura de notas su manera de tocar.
Only to a novice 👂.
So repetitive!
your name on any Fender???
@@GirlBandNerd Is yours??
Thats what a bad musician would say….
Also he is just having fun and improvising. Would love to see you do 2 % of what he can do with out even trying…
Jeff loomis is better.
Yngwie's vibrato and bending is almost unmatched.
@@epic103 Yeah they are both good.
@@rm25088 - as far as rock/metal players go Yngwie is on Mount Rushmore.
Yngwie is a game changer like Hendrix and EVH, even Loomis would agree.
NOOO!
