The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope. Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.
There are studies that when someone is singing or dancing at the same tempo for a while, their hearts will actually start to beat to that beat and align the people in the choir or group. I can’t imagine the feeling of everyone being in sync in this circle and what it must feel like doing this with that amount of people.

Countries like Turkey also have similar Zikr traditions albeit with less physical movement.

This is great! No synthesizer, audio tune or fancy studio equipment and these men have created ultimate rhythm, melody and harmony with just their foot stomps, claps and chanting. Based on the Sufi way of living and participating in these circles is it possible that these men have a longer life expectancy on average? Doing this two-three times a week is great exercise for the mind, body and soul.
They too need that tribal drum beating chanting and dancing around the fire experience, it actually makes them seem more like people to me when they do that. We white people should do that too by rediscovering the traditions of our ancestors.

I am a Sunni Muslim. This dance is not part of a ritual. They dance because of their hobby and the cultural traditions of their nation from their ancestors.I think this is healthy exercise. they replace alcohol with joyful dancing which is physically healthy.

This is great! No synthesizer, audio tune or fancy studio equipment and these men have created ultimate rhythm, melody and harmony with just their foot stomps, claps and chanting.
Based on the Sufi way of living and participating in these circles is it possible that these men have a longer life expectancy on average? Doing this two-three times a week is great exercise for the mind, body and soul.

They too need that tribal drum beating chanting and dancing around the fire experience, it actually makes them seem more like people to me when they do that. We white people should do that too by rediscovering the traditions of our ancestors.

That said, you're right that they are white people but also Muslims. However their religious believes are entirely incompatible with the culture of all other white peoples and we have in the past fought many bloody wars to keep Islam out of Europe. When I say we need to rediscover our roots, I'm thinking back to the believes and the cultus of our German forebears before Christianity and the analogs thereof in other white peoples.

I am a Sunni Muslim. This dance is not part of a ritual. They dance because of their hobby and the cultural traditions of their nation from their ancestors.I think this is healthy exercise. they replace alcohol with joyful dancing which is physically healthy.
