It is always worth living. It is hard to not let stuff affect you but this doesnt mean to be an emotionless rock, but rather dodgin around how things would get under ur skin. Plants definitely help

I hope this doesn't sound wrong, but as an extrovert with very loud friends, the way Benji and JiaHao speak together is so refreshing and calming to me 🥰. I just moved from one country to another and selling/giving away all my babies hurt my heart so bad 😭. I hope to create a new jungle at my new place once I'm more settled in 🙏🥰
I also moved countries and sold / gave all my plants so I feel you!
Been slowly collecting my first plants here for the past month
And trying to enjoy to journey of a fresh start :)

"Plant friends" is the cutest thing I've ever heard
If people in general were more eco friendly the world would be a much better place
The very first time you mentioned your friend Jihao in a video I was like. “Wait. Tyler’s Jihao? Pyromaniac Jihao??” It’s so amazing & inspiring to see Jihao’s journey with his plants, and I’m so delightfully surprised by the overlap in communities 💚

It's for his Chinese media. To avoid problems and persecutions in China. You know how in China they persecute homosexuals and think it's a disease. Some even got executed for being gay. So he just says it's his roommate for his own protection and privacy I guess.
Enjoyed every single minute of this house tour. JiaHao’s home, like Benji’s, looks like a botanical museum without the information cards. I can already imagine bigger collaborative knock your sock’s off projects from JiaHao and Benji! A big houseplant producer should hire you guys to create one of a kind collection that is available for a limited time. The enthusiasm you guys generate can inspire new souls to nurture nature they way it nurtures us.
I prefer that they stay independent. Why should a big company “help/save” them? That’s capitalism poisoning your independence

it’s a work out for sure. when we were filming my plant tour a while back, chris’ arms were getting sore and he needed to take breaks, but we also had to finish filming before the sun went down lol.

The environment in this house… in this space… with every being and every organism… it is just so uplifting, beautiful, and full of love.
I remember my grandmas house was FILLED with plants all through my childhood. I am in the process of replicating this. Slowly but surely. Absolutely beautiful home!

I love how chill Jihao is about his plants ….. I’m assuming his assessments of other people would be too… I’d imagine if I showed him my amateur attempts of growing anything he’d be like …. “It’s fine, its not dead “ …….thank you JiHao ! I’m trying my best !😅
I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia and all these plants, especially the largest leaf there, they literally grow beside the road just in front of my house, in clumps.... the leave is much larger even, almost 1.5 meter, a kid can hide behind it easily, and you are in different world if you sit under these giant leaves

I truly appreciate the fact that many of their furniture is second hand. I pride myself in finding second hand furniture that I can bring into my home and repurpose. This was a pleasure to watch.

You can really tell how good of a plant parent Jiahao is by just noticing how beautiful and huge the leaves of the plants are, by only using some plastic cups as pots. Love it! It's amazing!

As a mom of six daughters all under 15 and having cancer, i know how much my plants are my healing. Unfortunately between having so many kids and paying for some of my treatment, buying new plants, and supplies is not an ability i have so the next beat thing is watching you have your plants. My goal! I do have people send me cutting every now and again so thats a plus.

I'm so glad you mentioned that the white stuff on the staghorn fern is good for the plant and shouldn't be touched because I thought it was dust and cleaned it off my fern, I'll definitely stop doing that now !

I loved the exterior of this house, the wide windows with the view.... The interior plant jungle landscape definitely matches that grandiose natural environment! Wow, each plant and arrangement is so thoughtful, beautiful and alive! Love the frogs, raccoon and other animal life too!

I'm amazed at how lush those plants look! Especially, the balcony plants! I'm in Southern CA as well and I've steered clear of most tropical plants because I worry about providing enough humidity. I may rethink that now.

Awww and he allows the raccoons to stay in the garage that's very nice ♥️ see people and animals living together and the way he talked about his frog so adorable I also love the repurpose another man's trash is someone else treasure. I also have a glass cabinet I saw it outside a nail show I guess they displayed the nail items and polish in but it was perfect still so it's been w me for about 6 yrs now 😊

I just want to read there! It would be the perfect place to read, and then you would pause and look around you and it would be this perfect Paradise of plants, and then you would go back to reading knowing you were surrounded by this..... I love it!
