A 2 year old garden that look's like a 100 year old forest.....this is next level landscaping.
That’s what you can do when you’re a millionaire 😂
I am a California landscape designer and we try to replicate this look. You get an A+++ on design and installation. Absolutely impressive.
That's great 👍
Do you know if this is possible to sustain in San Diego?
" Leaf is not a garbage , Leaf is a nutrition ". Literally a nature quote.
behind the scenes mr chandra is eating raw leaf and fish to satisfy his needs
idk why this comment got me dying laughingg lmaoooo@@prawiraagung4011
Dont think you can eat thise plant tho
I live in Texas, and I have a pecan tree and other trees that shed their leafs in autumn, ever since I moved in my neighbor keeps asking me, when I'm cutting down the trees, and I always say, they give me oxygen and shade from the summer heat. Then every autumn he asks me, hey Charlotte, when are you gonna pick up your leafs? And I always tell him they are the home of all the bugs for the winter months, plus you know they become mulch for my plants too. Gosh, I swear my neighbor must think I'm nuts, but these are my answers to him for the last 20 years living next to him.🤭
I just don't know why he keeps asking me.🙃
Unbelievable garden and owner. A man with a vision. So interesting what he has to say. I’m sure you must be impressed with this garden Irene. I am. His idea to create a natural balance without pesticides is the future. Very nice episode. Well done Irene.
Thanks Brigette! He has a restaurant too and I can't wait to film that! He build a jungle garden in the restaurant too!
This is the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. Leaves are not garbage, they are nutrition - perfect! ❤️
What about spiders, frogs, mites, lizards, aphids, ants and other insect and creatures that must be in this forest?
Automatic irrigation. Rain collection. Food forest. Swales. Earth works. Greening desert. Dwarf food trees for small spaces.
@@green_life7 nature balances itself, go into any natural forest to see, its obvious
The soil in itself is very rich to begin with.
😊
If I was a billionaire , this would be my dream house
You are already and you can ..
You don't need billions for the Jungle so you can have half of it for nothing in just two years. Learn Permaculture. All the best.
You don't need to be a billionaire to create this type of home.
@@TajingJamoh-of5ozA millionaire could build it too.
Well you need money and this government is blocking me and I'm calling judgement every second until I get my money and my court case money release you need some money that they're holding back so I buy and block them
"If you let them free, the roots will find the nutrition." 🌿
He's so humble. I'm so proud of this man. He sounds like English is a 2nd language but he's even more articulate than native English only speakers. What an impressive guy!
What a warm pleasant personality Chandra has! He has created a true paradise in such a small space. He's built it in a way that makes it feel vast! Absolutely one of your best tours!
Yes indeed he is - thanks for appreciating this tour - one of the proudest video I had done!

Totally agreed! My favorite to date.

Living in the US where it mostly lawns, it is so inspiring to see such a beautiful, natural garden design for one's home and refuge. This channel is golden.
Agreed!
Car dependancy is cancer
well its not exactly possible to grow a tropical rainforest garden in most US climates.
@@dw2843exactly this! Only in South America & Indonesia have a perfect balance of weather where this can be achieved for plants like these! Otherwise, most of us would be living like this too 😍

I have seen a couple of high end homes for millionaires. Even the ones at +200 million are less desireable than this piece of paradise. I feel the same way this man does, at least in regards to nature, how a perfect garden looks like and animals. I always look at the garden of rich people homes. The house itself can be average and I would be content with it. Sure some things are nice to have, but a garden like this is priceless and keeps on giving peace.
Beautiful. Most beautiful garden Ive ever seen anywhere. The man seems cool as well :)
IM SO PROUD THAT YOU MEET OM CHANDRA😭😭😭😭MY PLANTING ICON. MY GARDEN IS BUILDED AFTER SEEING HIS GARDEN
He is so charming and seems to love having a chat and has a lovely sense of humour. One of your best tours!
Me too! I would hang around this neighbour's house all day long!😁
It would be interesting to do another interview a few years down the route to see how the garden grows.
An incredible opportunity to be able to see everything in a few years !!!! The Pacu are awesome and easily could be the most wonderful man made water garden in the world 🖤🖤🖤🍌🥭😎

Wow, Chandra's home and garden in Jakarta are simply amazing! The breathtaking design, along with the great plant care tips he shares. It's impressive how he's turned his passion for plants into a stunning collection of aroids. And the fact that he has other interests like birds, fishes, and art pieces makes it even more fascinating. Truly an amazing home!
...yes and to top it all, a very lovely, generous and welcoming person!

I live in Amazonia Brazil ,and this garden is like inside the forest 😊
Omg he's not only passionate about plants but he's got a great sense of humor! The ideal Man personality
I live in Amazonia, Brazil, and this garden is like a trip inside the forest. Simply amazing!😍
Vc e uma menina de muita sorte ye.lugar onde vc abita e sagrado .tenha a vc um dia maravilhoso conectado com esta natureza encantada.gostei de mais deste video.e tudo q planejo aqui onde moro
Também me encantei
My desire is to live in Amazon alongwith animals, animals and animals of all species.
He should bring back our Arara Azul (our blue parrot). He say was legally bought but is not true. Every brazilian know that they cant be sold legally just in the black market. Our last Arara Azul died and people like him bought the whole rest ILLEGALLY. Maybe the person who sold him said it was legal but a simple online search would show him it wasn't true. It's so sad to see the end of a specie because people think is cool to have a blue bird in a cage. Extremely sad!
@@shakilahmad4075 Then I think you should go to PANTANAL not Amazonia. Pantanal has more animals by the sqm than Amazonia ever will. Amazonia is about the forest, the rivers, the birds... One of the most amazing places on earth. Of course there is plenty of animals but when us brazilians want to see animals we will think if Pantanal first.
The best spent 35 minutes on RUclips ever.. what a breathtaking garden forest!! 🥰
This gentleman is really very interesting and wise. I love his approach towards natural gardening. The excellent sense of humour is an added bonus.
Thanks Irene for yet another very interesting episode.

This guy brought the South America forest in his home. Thank you for sharing this irene and sir thank you for opening your amazing home to us. Such an inspiration for us small gardener/plant collector to see this kind of paradise.
What do you mean south american forest, forest like this in indonesia its a lot, don't you think only country from south american has this kind of forest remember indonesia is the 2nd biggest forest nation after brazil, the think in this video make it special is becausd its not normal to find this kind of house who has lush 🏡 in chaotic jakarta...
Idk if you ignorant or didn't know anything about Southeast Asia flora and fauna. Tropical forest is not only found in South America, neither you can feel entitled enough to claim it like it only belong to your continent. Southeast Asia is hot and humid region with Tropical forest biomes, it's in the equatorial line same with South America. In fact, two Tropical rainforest in Southeast Asia is a lot more older than Amazon like, Borneo and Taman Negara.
to have this kind of home in the middle of a super busy city that's dominated with high-rise buildings is just so amazing
This is not just a garden but a MAGNIFICENT PARADISE, awesome house, landscape, natures and humans, one of the best!
YES, I have dragonflies in my garden, in Brazil. The garden you showed it's a natural garden, and I love it, looks like our forests here.
HEAVEN ON EARTH! This garden is sooo beautiful that I had tears in my eyes watching it. Thank you
I feel you. It's absolutely soul soothing.
Yes Indeed it was like a Superb Meditation I didn't want it to end!😁👏🏾👏🏾💯❤
I wish you could see my garden
I love his design aesthetic but even more so his philosophy about letting plants grow freely and bringing as much nature and beauty into the home through a garden. Quite rare to see such a person.
What a lovey pair of humans. If we were all like this think what an amazing planet we would live on.
I'm from Brazil and I was happy when he mentioned my country; I was surprised by these tanbaquis and this huge rock, what an incredible place!!!
Helloooo!!! I need to go Brazil! Is the fish widely available still for consumption? They eat fruits only ..must have such tender meat😁
Yeah, you need to come to Brazil, people here are crazy about plants too...this fish is from the Amazon region and accepts several types of preparation: grilled, roasted, fried or boiled. In the North region, we use to prepare with tomato, onion, potato and sweet pepper.😘😘😘
indonesia has beautiful landscapes🌳🌳🌳
@@leafing.around was hoping you could get a dinner treat of delicious fish . Too bad. Hopefully the next time you visit the population has grown enough for him to consider serving it special guests. Keep the fingers crossed and please go on more visits like this.
I wish Pak Chandra was my neighbour, he is such a lovely, interesting man, with an awesome garden.
pak Chandra and Leafy Irene, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful opportunity to let me take part in a tour of such a grand magnificent garden and expensive knowledge. I am a young plant enthusiast also from the metropolitan city of Jakarta, I am a overseas college student who currently live in another city to finish my study. I often helped my grandmother to take care and save neglected dying plants in our lush garden, and now I have brought that habit to my small space boarding house (kost-an). Day passed by and my grandma is getting older, she may no longer be able to care for the garden at any time. So that the management of the home garden will be passed directly to me. Even though I'm happy to have it, it will also going to give me a difficult time to manage everything alone. Sometimes I feel stressed and overwhelmed because I have to check every plant once a week thoroughly to prevent pests, until this video crossed my timeline. This was an eye opening experience with a pack of helpful tips, I learned that no matter how hard I try to save, you can't always save everything. That's the law of nature, we have to let them and ourselves free, grow wild naturally.
Pak Chandra i would love to know and talk to you, and maybe i could visit and even have the garden tour myself hehe. such an inspiration!
I really appreciate your openness to providing knowledge
Hands down the MOST amazing garden I have ever seen in my life! Thanks to Chandra for sharing it with you Irene, and therefore with us!
He has a very lucky wife. Incredible garden nurtured by a very intelligent gardener.thanks Irene great vid
Wow!! Mr. Chandra has created a paradise not only for himself but also for the other creatures that are present in his home. I love his personality, too.
Not for the blue bird in the cage 😢
Por qué dos orientales o asiáticos hablan en inglés?, no tienen su propia lengua?, hasta me parece ridículo. A quién quieren impresionar?
This man knows how to lounge around. What a great balance. It essentially creates an atmosphere where you can find energy through movement- that can be hard to do in a small apartment with little green space in the city. If you move through the world with a positive, nurturing perspective- you can see how it adds another layer of essence with this environment. All without lessons from a teacher, or a plane flight where the spices are different.
I don’t know if everyone should live in an environment like this- yet it projects desire that is accustomed to the earths limitations- without any physical, man-held chemistry induced reactions.
~It makes you wonder how houses like this can be incorporated in other areas of world, utilizing the natural born plants as to induce an increase in the vibrational frequency- without requiring change within ones beliefs~
This isn’t just a house. It’s a philosophy a man held, along with the self control and will to realize. You can tell he cares about future generations or at the very least knows how to get out of the way and enjoy life. Can you imagine where this philosophy would be in the world if he didn’t care about his environment? Lots of hidden respect. A very kind and humble man.
I'm proud to share that I have lots of dragonflys in my garden! Humming birds too! North Florida USA 🇺🇸
He's living my dream 😍
I liked his personality! amazing!
This is a super nice place I’ve ever seen. I’m from Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan plants have also been included in his collection. Happy to hear. Video quality and the shots are also good. 🙌
Their are people who are keeping our earth alive...🌍🌱
i cried how gorgeous his garden is. The fact hes giving nature a safe haven is beautiful. thank you sharing so we can dream too.
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. And he is the nicest man. I think his plants grow so well because of his wonderful energy. The heart shaped pond and the trees growing in the water take it to another level. I would never leave my home if I lived here! The aviary is amazing as well!
The aviary is mind blowing and His charisma reflects the beauty of the garden.
It takes a lot of work. Fortunately labour is cheap and abundant in Jakarta.

@@yogasetiaone betul itu tapi butuh kesadaran bersama dan juga kerjasama pemerintah, karena gak semudah kita berteori

This episode is my favorite so far. The video quality is good. I love Chandra's personality. He is very charming and warm. I only have small plant collection and started my tropical inspired garden here in the UK about 3 years ago. I also have quite a few indoor tropical plants. Chandr'a garden is very inspring! I hope to incorporate his ideas to my garden when budget allows.
Thank you for sharing your perspectives and a peek into your jungle Pak Chandra
I like to watch RUclips videos. This has to be in my top 5. It is the garden, the fish, the water, the flow, the birds and sounds. I love how he is so comfortable in his home. He loves it, and you appreciate it. This was a fabulous garden and video! Thank you and Pak for sharing it with us.
Pak chandra bring back jakarta to Sunda Kalapa era. Really love this. As a plant lovers and interior design student, it's challenging to make forestcape around house in jakarta without any chemical pestiside and i know jakarta temperature really hot even skin little bit burn. Applause for this concept 👏👏👏
Gorgeous garden and so healthy! I owned a farm in US for 25 years. Always organic and the amount of wildlife drawn to it was phenomenal . Mamas (birds, deer, foxes, opossum, raccoon, frogs, toads, snakes, insects) of all species came there to live and give birth and there were so many types of dragonflies!! People do so much damage with herbicides and pesticides. So much is being learned about how plants & soil fungi care for each other and are symbiotic - providing nutrients to ones who are stressed or sick - when Nature is left alone to achieve balance.
This is an absolutely wonderful video! I love his love of nature and plants and his wife! Such a sanctuary 💚
You just keep outdoing yourself finding the best tropical gardens this may be the best yet. This guy is so cool and honest. I agree with him about just plant things in the ground and they will thrive. I’ve done that myself with house plants placing them outside and they seem so happy
It will be very hard to top this garden! 😅
