Far less territory, far less people, far more technologically advanced weapons, automation, and social programs. Some economists think automation will lead to the the government putting everyone on a minimum salary regardless of work due to the fact automation is looking to put about 80 million people out of work by 2060, and I'm hear to tell you, we won't have NC level of technology till long after that. @@Emiliofy there's good and bad ppl every where Detroit is no different. The lack of opportunities (schooling, jobs, housing, ect) plus gentrification (watching the govt pour resources/tax dollars into only these white pop up neighborhoods while the hood is still a mess) really has made this a shitty place to live since like the 90s
The story was phenomenal overall but the side characters all got fucked over so badly. They all seemed to have the same miraculous luck he did until the story didn't need them anymore
It seems that way, I feel its likely the writer wrote them out as they weren't needed but it's not necessarily true they all died, from what I could tell the side characters that could have survived are the guy who lost an eye, that one guy who kept smoking, "dart" was it? And possibly rust (sorry I couldn't remember the names) I was hoping that "clint" I think his name was may have survived or that girl that was apart of the original team but I think it's safe to say they didnt make it. Its unfortunate but how I see it is the protagonist got separated from the few that could have survived that purple sphere teleportation bomb. Sure it's somewhat a trope to write out characters that are no longer needed but at least the writer didnt fully insinuate everyone he knew along the journey from start to finish had died in one way or another. Other then the lack of explination for the missing ones though and maybe an easy escape back to the real world to wrap things up. I think it's one of the best things I've been able to listen to. The few flaws the story has even have their own pluses, sur ethe ending could have been different but I still enjoyed it. Long story short, overall a great story and I wish I could listen to it again for the first time.

Wow this was absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t disrespect this by calling it a creepy pasta this is a work of art. Kudos to the author I agree wit others this needs to be made into a movie
This story reminds me a ton of a novel called "The Transall Saga" by Gary Paulsen that I read a while back. Both are about people getting sent to strange worlds and trying to survive, soon coming into contact with other civilizations. There's even a twist that is very similar to the moment with the chicago cubs tattoo. I'd highly recommend people who enjoyed this story to read that.
Wow. Probably hands down the best creepypasta I have ever heard. Most of them these days are usually meh. Some stand out from time to time as the best creepypasta I have heard in a while, but this is right up there with "Ben Drowned" "Godzilla NES" "Rusian sleep experiment" "1999" and stories like those. Probably even better. It kind of lost me a little at the whole "Island of the Dead" segment though. I was worried that the story was fixing to go zombie apocalypse with it, but even the whole colorless spirit concept added some freshness to that old concept. My favorite parts where hearing about all the creatures in Heaven's Curse. Most of them were very terrifying!
Mr_Outlaw is by far my favorite "creepypasta" author. He is so fantastically and amazingly talented! And MrCreepyPasta does a phenomenal job with the narration! The combo of these two is absolute perfection in my opinion. 😄

It never ceases to amaze me the imagination and creativity of this author, I'm loving his Universe, and if he puts all his stories together and write a final one wrapping them all it will be an amazing book. Also thank you MrCreepyPasta, I love your narration, it makes the story way better.

Mr_Outlaw_ posted that there will be a book to follow up and build off this series! We can only hope
@@felizeumida4374 well the thing about neo civitas is that we actually see their technology. Everyone else uses tech that is about the same as our current technology. NC actually has energy weapons, force fields, teleportation, anti gravity, and advanced recon capabilities. Paradise X could project its power over the small island, NC could project its power globally. So it's likely NC is actually better than described.
@@felizeumida4374 true, but does anyone in Detroit resemble shambling drones? Can you honestly say there's anyone in detroit who looks like they crawled out of a Nazi death camp like the people of Paradise X? No, imagine what detroit would look like if America had all that future tech and 100 million fewer people to worry about and lived in an area the size of Texas.

I really enjoyed the transall saga.
