Is there more to this series on MCP's channel? I know there is a compilation that lasts 7 hours, plus 4 hours for bedside manor, then another hour for the April fools episode. Am I missing any? I've never read the books.

There’s also one that was released about 6 months ago that was about Spiders. I forget what it was called. The books are also on audible if reading isn’t necessary your thing :)
My favorite thing about Bedside Manor is how even with all the weird stuff going on and how jack and jerry can never catch brake, you finally get to see how bad Jack is at interacting with others. It not like that he has that typical type of social awkwardness like he’s a teenager afraid to ask a girl out, but that more mature one that actually is worse. He that type of social awkward guy that’s not afraid to talk to people because he doesn’t have any insecurities but just can’t stand being around others because all he can feel around people is either annoyins or anger. It’s sad to see him have that problem because it has to do more with what happing in his head then any confidence problems, most people can escape probity, but not everbody can escape their own nature.
You have to take into account his "career" as well. He's basically forced to have multiple interactions all day long when he's at work and even longer if he has to work a double. He's probably be more sociable and happier as a dishwasher.

Jack doesn’t have FFI anymore now he just has a rem sleep disorder and can sleep for 15 minutes to a hour a night. His medication is to rain in the hallucinations and delusions his disorder may cause I suppose? Or perhaps book 4 will explain that he has 2 separate conditions that co inside as well as feed in to each other

The sleep is just so shallow that he functions as if he were awake, with the added bonus of his dreams mixing with reality to create vivid hallucinations. The FFI was a fantasy he made up as a coping mechanism. But Dr. V was compromised when he made the revelation, so it might not be completely true.

In the author's official website, when you go through a bunch of endings, there's one where they end up in the gas station and Jack gets a call from Lucy. In the end of that, there's a picture of Lucy dressed up as a fox (for halloween) and a hedgehog in her hand
@@coolchoicebro The writer's main website. It requires a password, and you have to choose to 'Fight' the parasite to get it. I recommend giving it a read, there's actually quite a few puzzles you can solve to get random clues throughout the story. I think the password is 'dream' but I can't remember. You still get him waking up at the gas station, but you won't get to see whether or not the entire story was just a dream he was having. It's left ambiguous.
I keep finding myself back here listening I can almost recite every line I love tales from the gas station and mcp for always narrating it! I can’t believe bedside manor has been out for almost 4 years!
Out of all the things that the bugs shown Jack, the illusion that almost made him stay is that of normal life. That’s what Jack wanted the most but never believes he would ever achieve it not just because of all the crazy stuff happened around him but also his medical condition. He doesn’t know when he will collapse so he just completely give up on his future.
The 1st time our family has listened to this story. It is awesome!! Even the spirits in our home love this story. They can relate really well concidering they have died very grusome. And we all love solving mysteries!!

I just realized that the "she who shall not be named" girl who jack talks about a lot throughout season 1 who i always thought was Vanessa is actually the daughter of the owners gas station who jack dated in high school before his accident. Also Jerry found the thing carlos freaked out about, he mentions it when him and jack are hanging upside down when kidnapped he says he met a god in a bottle of whatever it was but the name of the liquor in the bottle is the only word jack could understand when Carlos was speaking spanish panicking around the first time they encounter Benjamin with a tree growing through his car
In an already great series, Jerry is still the shining light of it all... crazy, funny, loyal, and did I mention funny? Great comic relief and a perfect "partner" for Jack!

I recommend buying MrCreepypasta’s audiobook narrations (originally written by Gas Station Jack on reddit), the third installment was just released and its amazing. But as for this particular spin off story, I doubt the author will return to it, even if the cliffhanger is annoying

I'm a sucker for romance when romance isn't the main focus of a series, like "found love" kinda stuff and I So love the idea of Claire and Jack getting closer or like, meeting up later down the line or something. I can see them being platonic too but part of me ships it hard.

Took me a bit longer to get into this one than some of the other Gas Station tales for some reason, glad I stuck with it though as it turned out to be fantastic.

Absolutely loved this one, I'm definitely going to get into Tales from the Gas Station now. I adore Jerry. Question about the very end, what was that supposed to imply? Like... There's no way Laura is a parasite, that makes no sense. Jerry literally picked her up and carried her out, so it's not like she's just a ghost or a figment of Jack's imagination. Despite that end sounding threatening, I can't see Laura in a threatening light there. Is she Clara's mom? Clara's gf? And they just lied about the sister thing?
Lauren could've just been playing smart she knew something was wrong with Jack and trusted that so she said she was Claire's sister so by the off chance jack figured it out she would be saved as well as Claire hence the wink like she knew but thats my opinion/theory
The way I took it to be is that it's another one of the "masterminds". Despite the two of them being out cold, and neither Jack or Jerry saying anything about the bugs, she somehow knew the bugs were a thing and all over the house.
I would totally say shes kind of a clone of some sort. Something that feeds of clair. And thats why shes so protective and looks like her? Her discription is she looks like clair but has slightly less exagerated coloration. Like less intense blue eyes and not as black hair. Maybe someone was attempting to re-create the best Psychic in her prime. (Or the reverse. Regardless. I think one of them is the original being. And the other is a copy)
These characters are colorful as hell. You did an amazing job speaking their lines, almost feels like I was listening to one of those old timey radio shows.

I tried My Property Isn't Normal as my first taste of creepypasta. I'm hooked. I like humor and horror together and this guy is brilliant at it.

I just realized that the "she who shall not be named" girl who jack talks about a lot throughout season 1 who i always thought was Vanessa is actually the daughter of the owners gas station who jack dated in high school before his accident. Also Jerry found the thing carlos freaked out about, he mentions it when him and jack are hanging upside down when kidnapped he says he met a god in a bottle of whatever it was but the name of the liquor in the bottle is the only word jack could understand when Carlos was speaking spanish panicking around the first time they encounter Benjamin with a tree growing through his car

When i first listened to tales from the gas station i never even thought this book series would be anything other than some campy story about unusual shit at night at a gas station in New York. Damn was i wrong! Just to let you know ive already invested in the books man. I know i sound like a preachy door to door salesman but these stories are worth having on my horror shelf. I recommend buying MrCreepypasta’s audiobook narrations (originally written by Gas Station Jack on reddit), the third installment was just released and its amazing. But as for this particular spin off story, I doubt the author will return to it, even if the cliffhanger is annoying

Question about the very end, what was that supposed to imply? Like... There's no way Laura is a parasite, that makes no sense. Jerry literally picked her up and carried her out, so it's not like she's just a ghost or a figment of Jack's imagination. Despite that end sounding threatening, I can't see Laura in a threatening light there. Is she Clara's mom? Clara's gf? And they just lied about the sister thing?
Lauren could've just been playing smart she knew something was wrong with Jack and trusted that so she said she was Claire's sister so by the off chance jack figured it out she would be saved as well as Claire hence the wink like she knew but thats my opinion/theory
The way I took it to be is that it's another one of the "masterminds". Despite the two of them being out cold, and neither Jack or Jerry saying anything about the bugs, she somehow knew the bugs were a thing and all over the house.
I would totally say shes kind of a clone of some sort. Something that feeds of clair. And thats why shes so protective and looks like her? Her discription is she looks like clair but has slightly less exagerated coloration. Like less intense blue eyes and not as black hair. Maybe someone was attempting to re-create the best Psychic in her prime. (Or the reverse. Regardless. I think one of them is the original being. And the other is a copy)
