I was once made feel inadequate… it nearly destroyed me. But I realized that i was more than adequate … not my fault that I wasn’t given a fair chance … and it’s in the past now … I think that the Rhine river would be a wonderful and interesting background … as would be the alps or even some of the Swiss trails
@@danheculuck That's a tough lesson you went through, my friend and I feel with you. It was your soul's wake-up call to be and love yourself. To learn this lesson, we have to understand that whatever happened has nothing to do with the other person or persons but with our own expectations. It happens if we try to please others, if we're working hard to do everything we think the other wants to show that we are good enough. It's putting the cart before the horse because we're trying to be what we think they want instead of asking ourselves "Who am I?" and then be just that. As said, it can be a very hard lesson, especially if we're clinging to an illusion that has never been real. Disillusionment is one of the most painful experiences in life and the only way through that pain is to accept that we dug our own hole, that it has been us creating and keeping up the illusion all along, and then start to find out who we truly are, who we want to be without running after what we think others might want.
