Bro I gotta say I've watched alot of hiking videos but I like your style and the way you put your videos together the best. It's great to see you still out here this year again. Some do their through hikes and disappear for awhile but you have stuck with it.

Hey Captain Jack, I just saw a post on earlier asking for prayers for NC. It looked like the mountain was on fire. We had high winds in our area and limbs on the road. I really enjoy your videos but be careful just the same. Fire or wind can be just as dangerous as other situations. Happy Trails! 😎🙏

I am wondering why you set up your bivouac in the room at Trint’s ? There was a bed there.
The place had outlets to charge. And it was out of the wind. But I was still tempted to sleep out in the yard. Actually would’ve if I knew whether I’d be soaked with dew in the morning or not.
Was curious how your trail runner / hiking shoe of choice has held up...how many pairs of shoes have you been through on this journey so far?
Too many. I was actually really bummed about these loan peaks yesterday. After the shoes soaked out I had to take my left one off three times to reposition the insole. Absolutely ridiculous.
Near Trent's Grocery I think there's a place on the trail that's marked where you can cut through a field to get there without doing too much of a road walk.

The young female had a fight with the boyfriend. He took his things and departed including " her" car.. The truly terrifying news is she is 7 months pregnant. Truly terrifying. So tomorrow I'm supposed to check on her comfort and communications. I'll enroll the other senior demands as midwives. I will take my cat as a means of introduction. That would appear like quite difficult to explain. But a safe visit as she is already pregnant.
