What's missing in China is the concept of agressive movement defense. That'll come with time. They need to import a bunch of excellent defensive players to cross-polinate the skills in that regard and up the total quality over there. This play is way better than they were 15 years ago, the first time I watched Chinese pro ball...

marshon brooks is forgotten for 4 years in China comes back last year for Memphis Grizzlies and shots like 50% from 3 point....and AVG: 21 PPG and is extended on a 2 year deal at 29 years old and currently while he isnt receiving the minutes as he was last year the GRIZZ are 29th in offensive efficiency without him on floor, And 10th in the nba in offense efficiency with him on the court and averaging close to 10 pts per game.....So all that to say just because jimmer isn't in the nba doesn't mean he can't play or wouldn't be a very good nba player. What it does mean is that the NBA isn't exclusively about having the best and most entertaining product

I am just stating the hard truth and raw facts some people don't rea want to hear about the Jimmer;a white American basketball player overseas who should just stay in his lane overseas that continues to benefit him the most financially and socially and not negatively change that positive dynamic by thinking that now because he's been playing 3d tier, inferior overseas basketball competition over the years that somehow, he's NBA ready when he's clearly not ready for that top upper echelon of basketball competition.....the NBA, the very best basketball players in the entire world.
Jimmer tries to come back to the NBA, he probably won't make it through the preseason and if he does, he's not even the 6th, 7th or 8th man on the bench roster in the normal rotation structure but no more than the lead is too great be it his team or opponent, to catch up and now all about the last 2-3 minutes, garbage time pick up basketball......and he will lose a ton of money playing in the NBA when China pays him very well.

Spot up/coming off the pick or screen jump shooters are a dime a dozen in the NBA and Jimmer doesn't play any defense because he's a white American whose not quick enough or fast enough to defend African American point and shooting guards.

marshon brooks is forgotten for 4 years in China comes back last year for Memphis Grizzlies and shots like 50% from 3 point....and AVG: 21 PPG and is extended on a 2 year deal at 29 years old and currently while he isnt receiving the minutes as he was last year the GRIZZ are 29th in offensive efficiency without him on floor, And 10th in the nba in offense efficiency with him on the court and averaging close to 10 pts per game.....So all that to say just because jimmer isn't in the nba doesn't mean he can't play or wouldn't be a very good nba player. What it does mean is that the NBA isn't exclusively about having the best and most entertaining product
