I love organic jojoba oil! I find it at Whole Foods and sometimes at Marshall's TJ Maxx (same brand Desert Essence, although there are a few other good ones as well). ❤ your videos. Hope you're having a great weekend so far 🤗
Laura, I love the physicians formula translucent and deeper powders. They look very brightening. And I love how you used the darker one as a blush...very pretty on the skin. And very affordable..... 😉

I found oils work great for me, too. I was quite surprised. I think it has something to do with having fewer ingredients. One thing at a time seems to be better these days. L'Oreal made a face oil a few years ago that I loved, but it was discontinued.😢 I use rosehip oil and sometimes add primrose. I'm not sure about a dewy makeup look - there's a fine line between dewy and oil slick. I live in a Houston - esque climate, and summer is brutal. Thanks for your work as always, Laura. ❤🎉

I loved the look today and was wondering how the neutrogena foundation held up through the day. I don’t like foundation that doesn’t dry down, comes off if you touch your face. I also can’t wear most Matt foundation cuz then my skin looks dry and feels dry. Also because of my age I can’t wear powder any more like I used too. Do you know of a soft powder for mature skin to set foundation that isn’t so drying?
I thought I would never use oil on my face for anything as my skin has always been oily. The older I get the drier I get! My skin has completely changed in my sixties. I love oils now. Not only do they look good but feel good. Just curious if you would think the Physicians Formula powder would be a dupe for the Milani prep+set+glow illuminating translucent powder? I love the Milani and can't find a dupe. Thanks for all the great info.

I prefer a light healthy looking glow, not overpowering or beaming. During the warmer months, I wear concealer and Physician's Formula Mineral Powder without foundation or skin tint. It is great for on the go days. Depending upon the look I want to achieve, my current skin status and the other makeup products I am using determines if I place my concealer under the base or over the base.
I like natural skin like makeup so glowy. My favorite oil is rosehip seed oil. It soaks into my skin and helps with wrinkles and hydrates my skin. TFS. Take care.
I just bought the It concealer in the shade you have yesterday. I haven’t tried it yet. I had such a hard time opening that sucker and I am not a weakling! 😂 I was twisting my life away where the top and bottom meet (how it logically looks like you should try to open it) and nothing was happening. I thought maybe there was some kind of trick and another way to get into it, but no. I finally got a silicone mat (to set a curling iron on) and was able to grip enough to twist it apart. What an ordeal. I thought I was going to have to return it. Thought I’d share in case anyone else has the issue. Enjoyed the video 😊

I can’t get on board with the dewy look..I see some of the older ladies ( like myself) with it and they look too greasy..I just think about hugging someone with that face and leaving makeup all over them. I think it’s gorgeous on young women who don’t have to wear foundation though. I like your eyes today..I will have to try those shadows…and what a find with that wet and wild brush!
My experience is that people enjoy makeup for different reasons. Sometime we want a quick out the door look. Some people enjoy the artistry of makeup and have fun creating a look. The joy of makeup is it can mean and be what you want it to be.❤️
Hi Laura, I love applying Clarins blue orchid facial oil. I put it on at night and look absolutely radiant in the morning, problem is it’s quite pricey. I have dry skin so I will try Burt’s Bees oil ,thanks and wishing you a great weekend. Btway, I used to have little surprises on my skin at the end of the year. I taught English in grade 10&11 for 35 yrs…. Hang in there my dear, you will miss it dreadfully when you retire. ❤
Hi Laura. Really enjoy your videos. I use the Derma E vitamin c glow face oil during the day and at night I use 100 % pure rosehip seed oil. My skin is combo/ dry. I have tried several oils and I keep going back to these.
Don’t do oil or concealer. Just foundation. With oily skin I steer clear of the glowy look. Ordered the mascara and mascara brush. Love the black lash primer! Best I’ve tried. Both sides look great to me. Thanks for all your hard work. Have a blessed weekend 😊

I'm trying the Elf face oil and so far really liking it. I also use the maybelline lash primer and lately just using on its own. I think I'm going to try that neutrogena eyeshadow your wearing.
I rotate Rosehip oil some nights and my skin looks so good the next morning. Haven’t found a need to use under my foundation, except I do use Resveratrol between my vitamin C and moisturizer and it works beautifully under foundation. Like you, I switch up concealer, before or after foundation and sometimes not at all…love when concealer isn’t needed.

Yes, I would put the oil in first, let it sit for maybe five minutes and then go in with your sunscreen.❤

At 66 with normal skin I like my skin to have a slight sheen, but not uber glowy. I don't like the matte look as I think it makes me look older

Your videos are always the best. I have to be careful with glowy products. I get oily in the T zone so they often make me look like a grease pit.
