Mr. Morgan, best time for me to watch your channel is Sunday Morning, my wife and kids are still sleeping and the house is quiet... I make my favorite cup of coffee and head to the office play the latest video. I can't afford most of the watches showcased ( mortgage and kids its Casio, Seiko and Tissot-- saving for a Hamilton in the next few months) I appreciate your story telling skill- Sir, you are a wordsmith. You hit so many of these quirks square on the head. The setting the time, the jacket check, the toothbrush hack, the casual glance [self-directed or at another fellow's], the sussing out your surroundings based on what's on our wrist-- guilty of all these. Here's a tip related to the jacket check: don't buy a jacket that uses magnets to close pockets or, heaven forbid, the cuffs. It will wreak havoc with mechanical and quartz movements.

When I first purchased my GMT Master II I would lay it to bed at night on a pedestal of leather and mahagony like a premature new born in an incubator.

Great video as usual, very relatable. When all these quirks are mentioned collectively like this,I realize watches made me crazy 😂

I love the Tool reference. I figured I was the only Tool fan who likes watches.

I suspect setting the time wrong before you fly to Geneva is due to the 2 hour wait in Whetherspoon's in Gatwick...

Excellent! I noticed at the beginning you mentioned a ‘Charlotte’ - something you hadn’t mentioned before, and something not mentioned again after 10 minutes. Is the Charlotte something you caught and released, or perhaps flipped for a small profit? Did the Charlotte have complications as I wouldn’t mind getting one? Though I’d probably buy the simple 3-hander.

Your videos are always so good! Your writing; the humor, irony, analogies, metaphors, similes, etc. is simultaneously hilarious and insightful. I need to check out your books. What title do you recommend I start off with? I love sci-fi 😎

When I set my watch down on my desk I always take extra time to arrange it so that the watch case is propped up on the bracelet protecting it and so that I can still read the time on it.
Not that I ever do read the time in it because I have my computer and my phone right in front of me but I can't not do it

I don't know maybe I just wasn't keeping attention so I missed it BUT. You mean to say that you don't listen to your watch with both ears before you put it in its nighttime special place. I don't understand, I feel somehow betrayed. None of the other stuff applies. The absolute joy of wearing a Citizen with a 8210 Miyota movement. You have to wait 15 seconds for that rotor swirl to stop before you can actually hear the escapement. All the bother with scratches and depreciation i a mute point. Purchasing a watch like this is like setting fire to 200 euros and finding a watch in the ashes. you know you can never sell it because it's a magical thing that other people can't see.

Another great video. However, the title doesn't match the content.
I'd name it "Watch Enthusiasts Quirks. "
Really doesn't matter, I'll continue to view your videos, whatever is titled.
