@@qtheband751 I think that although that era ("Dynasty" through "The Elder") Paul and Gene were trying to write more "adult" songs and get away from the "Rock N Roll All Night" kinds of anthems, and essentially - for those of us who were kids at the time, we didn't appreciate this material because KISS was evolving faster than we were. I hated "The Elder" when it came out. Now, I can go back listen to it and holy shit there is some amazing material on that record!! Listen to "I Am Just a Boy!" Even better, check this out. Awesome version of “Sure Know Something”. Always been a beautifully crafted song by the peerless Paul Stanley. Singer is obviously a KISS fan and is passion galore about belting it out. Does great job. Band is as usual, terrific amalgam of seriously talented musicians. Bravo 👏🏽
