I have been in the same situation and it seems that those who know don’t want to get involved or have any interest in getting involved. It’s very difficult for the person who is being abused as it just makes them feel like they’re not worth anyone else’s time or care. Doubly frustrating to be honest.
most teenagers nowadays dont know what to do in that circumstance let alone step in. especially since everyone was drunk that couldve caused physical violence & possibly other violence. when i was in a dv situation at 15, all of my friends knew something was wrong but knew i didnt want anything to happen to my bf at the time & they didnt know what to do exactly.
