Yesss I love this movie with my soul!! The super 8 movies and music made me actually consider leaving the theater when I watched it. And for a hardcore horror fan, this is the highest praise I can give to a movie. 🖤🤘🏽
The opening was soooo creepy. I think there was maybe a bit too much time spent on Ethan Hawke doing his Scooby Doo work in a frumpy sweater. Fun fact: this is the first film I watched on my first ultra 4K tv (Oooh! Ahhh!) so in my mind’s eye, this was a masterpiece of cinematography ;)
This one might just be one of the most disturbing films Ive ever watched. Yeah, I know there are far worse films out there but this one is just so unsettling for me. Definitely deserved the R-rating in my opinion.
I finally watched this a week ago and it was GOOD. I always avoided it thinking it was another CGI ghost thing a la Conjuring Insidious part 15 but this was genuinely scary and I enjoy it a lot.
I was at the gym in our apartment complex and I was facing the pool and I immediately thought about that scene when they showed the creepy guy walking under the water I left immediately 😂😂
Wow.. How odd I also just rewatched this movie a couple of days ago haha, I like this movie, it's fun, I like how it's a slow burn all the way through, it's quiet, dark and depressing the whole way through and I appreciate that, out of the modern ghost movies this one is not a bad one I don't think, not anywhere near as good as the Insidious movies by the same people (in my opinion) but it's good, gonna watch the sequel soon.
I went to watch Sinister with high expectations because of all the praise it was getting...NOT. The film takes every scary, supernatural, horror cliché and crams them into 109 minutes. The only thing missing was an Indian Burial ground...lol.The ending is slightly unexpected, but not enough to save the film for me and ultimately it left me disappointed...It was just OK. I never bothered with the sequel and have yet to watch this a 2nd time..perhaps I will give it another try. I thought the acting was good. The family had good chemistry and Ethan Hawke did a great job conveying his horror as he delved deeper into the murders. Also, the "found footage" murder films were VERY creepy and well done and I loved the way this movie was filmed. Thumbs Up Jason😎👍
The film had a good idea. But they took it off badly. The music is good, the actor is good, the girl is good. But the rest is bad. Writers are bad, characters are stupid. This film is an example of how you can spoil the good.I know that my English is bad.))
