Established as a township in post-independence Zimbabwe, Nkulumane is located in the City of Bulawayo and its name was derived from King Mzilikazi’s eldest son. In this video, our guide and historian; Dr. Wayne Malinga discusses the history, culture and economic activities of this place. We also get to tour the township and familiarise with some of the favourite food spots in the area, and discuss the need to promote township tourism.

~About Magriza Made Me Cook:
» Magriza is slang for uGogo (Grandmother in isiNdebele) and the name of the show is derived from Prince's inspiration for falling in love with cooking; his grandmother. The goal of MMMC is to document and serve Africa's diverse food culture, one dish at a time. We believe that Africa has got unique meals that ought to be talked about, and most importantly, cooked consistently. We believe in the values of Ubuntu, Respect, Creativity and Minimalism.

Hello Zimbabwe!!! From San Paulo Brazil South America!!! God Bless Africa!!!🙏🙏🤝🤝🥰

Welcome bra
Let’s share these channel and make it grow to a wider veiwship it’s refreshing to watch and educative
Thank you for this. Really appreciate your efforts🙏🏼
Very refreshing indeed madam Obama 😊
Thanks alot I think you can solve this issue of xenophobia between south africans and zimbabweans when they saw their brothers and sisters living there peacefully. And also try to explain why those people are there, like I'm so amazed when I so zimbabwe is like south africa no feminine as they say everything is good we need people like you to make us understand these things.
Its ignorance ,abakwazi anything at all.you know if u travel u know better things.its not their fault ,its ignorance.. Bt real people like Presidents and those people who travel nabanye abantu abadala bayakwazi ukuthi kuphilwa njani nabanye.those who talk rubish about Zimbabwe are just those illetrate who never learn History
Is impossible u can't solve it . The system of immigration in South Africa is working in favour of rich people ... minimum wage is not compolsury . cheap labour always benefits foreigners that mean South African citizen will stay without jobs . England have tried same system but it failed
The is no regime change without violence protest or blood if you think there is you must be romentic dremer . The government must be held accountable
Mahlangu ndiyavuya marn yilemedia sifuna ukuyibona not the one that bad mouth about Zimbabwe. Bring more videos. From Cape Town
True Lusu Memeza. We need to start showing these positive stories about Africa and Africans
Nkulomane's grave is in Phokeng Rustenburg. After he was chased by Mzilikazi he find refuge in Batswana of Phokeng where he died. The cause of death is unknown but is buried and his grave is respected.
Unkulomane asimaz

Beautiful Nkulumane Ayanda. Kuhle!
Missing home big time 😪 but big ups👍
Please follow up on the name associations between Nkulumane (Nkulumoni?) and Kuruman in South Africa. There is a speculation the missionary Robert Moffat took the Prince with him to this place for his safety - Kuruman hence it got its name!
Township tourism, kudala they used to be a lunar park that used to come and set up in Nkulumane, people frm other kasis wud come to Nkulumane for the first time, economically it helped small businesses a lot. But suddenly it just stopped, maybe it's nw expensive to run it nw
Sivalo, I think your question around 13:50 would be answered this way: identify what each surburb is famous for for example if Nkulumane is famous for graffiti market it to other areas as a graffiti era where people will come and learn about it and then they go to heroes acre across the street. If Mpopoma is famous for traditional artifacts market it for that, if Mzilikazi is famous for whatever it is do that instead of doing all otherwise we will miss the point or mark of marketing Bulawayo and its neighbourhood. You did a video of Msizi Kay from Magwegwe West he can market his erea as a hip hop place etc.
Thank you for the feedback Mtho
Home 🥺🥺🥺🥺
