    Picked one up. Was going to go with a Forney 110v welder but this one has both voltages and at $109 I had to take a chance on it.

    On this unit, the wire speed is the right knob and left is amps. The display is kind of meaningless. Below a couple of responses to questions left on Amazon might help clarify.
    ++++++++++
    Q: settings For Mig mode 1mm, where should the voltage and current knobs be set?
    A: Dear Customer, the Voltage knob is used to adjust the speed of feeding wire. For the currents you can start with 5 and adjust to 10 according to the thickness of the object to be welded.

    Q: I noticed that there is no wire speed control why is that?
    A: when u look at the front the wire speed control is the knob on the right that controls your wire feed and the knob on the left controls the amount of heat to penetrate steel.

    And here's a general quickie on V, A and wire speed as it pertains to reducing MIG flux core spatter due to "Incorrect Settings"-- you should be able to understand how this translates to the controls found on the unit in the video:
    Improper settings
    Everything has to be right when you are doing flux core welding. One of the first causes for spatter is incorrect amperage settings. The wire feed speed determines the kind of amperage you will be using. If you set too high then you will experience spatter. You can solve this in two main ways - lowering amperage (or wire reducing wire speed) or increasing voltage. You will need to constantly test the welds until you find the right settings.

    let me ask a real dumb question? so the ground goes in the positive side and the part you weld with goes on the negative side. or just on this machine.. im very new at this and genuinely asking..

      Yeah it's weird, just follow the instruction and pictures and it works. Have a great day.

    Exposed circuit board. Maybe use that welder to fabricate a cover for that.
