- Hi Everyone,
In this video we will finish building the Italeri 1/72 B-58 Hustler Scale Model. This was a bit of a challenging kit, but I think it came out ok. The decals for this kit are excellent. I chose the markings for "Rapid Rabbit" of the 43rd Bomb Wing, Carswell AFB, Texas (1962). If you are going to build this kit, I have several recommendations. You can wait to install the little windows in two crew compartments behind the pilot's cockpit at the end of the build (only if you leave the hatches open). Another recommendation is to put the engines on before you paint the model. There are some locating pins for the outboard engines, but not for the inboard engines. Italeri relies on an engraved outline on the bottom of the wings for to help you place the inboard engines, but they get covered up with paint. Thanks for watching!

Looking really nice with alternating silver surfaces. Even in 1/72 a big bird 💥👍💥
