- Great F22 display at Avalon Airshow 2023.
First time using the new S23 so unfortunately, a few great parts of the display were out of frame and I apologise for this :(

Just frickin love the airshows where you have to stare into the sun all freaking day..
I was on the verge of tears at this today. Dreams come true.
Me too, but not because of how beautiful the aircraft was, it was because i am stuck in townsville

It almost made be tier up because i remember years ago in one of the hardest times of my life me and my best mate were talking about how sick the airshow would be to go to and now a few years later me and him went and i felt like one of my life goals was complete

The F22 towards the end of today's show was the pinnacle of the day.
Awesome display of what a real fighter pilot can do with the F-22. One plane that can't be bought. Great camera work, Cheers 👏
A 100 years from now the raptor will still be a breathtaking machine, regardless of future tech, it's really the most beautiful aircraft ever built, in my eyes. 🇺🇸

@@user-fx1uo8xy1j The MiG-31 has a RCS of 20m², but the F-22 has an RCS 0.0001m².
You must have accidentally got the MiG-31 and Raptor swapped around.
Great to see. I was lucky when in Honolulu in 2019 I saw 11 , F22 raptors take off at once from. Hickman airforce base. Gives you goose bumps

Our Airshow is nothing without American aircraft. That's what they bring to entertain us, or what we have already bought.
Yeah, I tried too, the sun shining on my screen meant I couldn't see a thing I was doing, you got more of the F22 in frame than I did lol... I was pointing high half the time.

Just tried to find footage on YT of the Ruski jets at the Avalon Air Show and hey….nothing to be found. Lucky I still have it on an early digital camera.
IV seen 2 take off together when the 2nd lot of wheels went in they went up together....done my head in I tell ya......those boys aim well yeah

The jets that flew were spectacular but the ones that could have been even more spectacular were left in their parking lots ...an F16..and FOUR F15 ..
The Singapore f16 I was confused about as I believe they still have display pilots. No display pilots for the f15 I'm told which is crazy. Could have still taken off and done a few flyovers.
So glad it's the s23 so we can actually see the plane with the amazing zoom without having to squint like you would have to on an iPhone 🤣
Dam it, if I knew a raptor would be there I would have sold an organ to be able to attend. 😢

They never say anything about the Raptors cryptography capabilities. That means that it can go invisible.

Cute flying. If your the other guy, you will never even see the f22. Advanced radar and advanced missiles, all you will do is maybe hear a ringing note and then you’ll be pushing daisies for a while.

For an unarmed and low fuel state, I thought it would be better.

It's been out of production for many years . Never sold to anyone . This is a really top secret aircraft although its old , not the F-35 with the hundreds of issues that keep popping up every day .

I saw the Flakker at the first Avalon Air show and it was way more spectacular than the raptor…it flew backwards, stood still over the runway pointing up, sitting on its jets! America has finally caught up…sort of! A very sad second to a 30 year old Russian jet.
This is probably a consequence of fighter jets being designed for fighting, and not airshows. The avionics, radar, and low-observability characteristics matter a lot more than whether a particular jet can wow a crowd with aerobatics. Supermaneuverability is nice to have but not *that* important in a war.

Bad camera work. Half the video the plane is at the edge of the screen, makes a turn and disappears. Looking at blue sky.
