Very nice discussion. Intellectually sound and honest discussion. As an Indian and as a Hindu I have a great sense of relief and respect for the guest speaker to see that a Pakistani and a Muslim is totally free from the animosity towards India and Hindus. I accept that there are many such enlightened persons in Pakistan.
thank you for appreciations, for better future we both nations must not live in the past illusions and hatred, alot of pakistanis believes that, it is a hatred between good and evil only, and especially alot of our leaders either militiary or politicals they just dont want peace to be happen because of their own selfish interests and foreign policies of the west. we both have alot challenges in terms of poverty, security and development on people. Same wishes for indian people dont fall into any religious extremisms trap exported by west and some politicans just for gaining political powers. Thats what the UK did to us in 1947, they should be busy in war and hatred. This old ideology must be end now, killing of one person is like killing of all mankind.

this is a fantastic interview. I appreciate the intellectual courage of Masaud Khalid Saab and his incisive analysis I also appreciate Faisal bhai for Dekho Suno Jano.
(my opinion) Pakistan is not free. It never was. Pakistan is still under the control of US + UK governments. The Army (+their businesses, linkages etc that you call Establishment), the zamindars and religious clerics have been encouraged and made powerful so that the aam aadmi is distracted and their voice suppressed and the economy kept dependent.
The people in the territories of Pakistan deserve better. They deserve to have their governments and military to work for them. The current situation there is NOT the fault of the people. IMO they are victims of fate, their fate was determined on the drawing boards of the British Empire. Here is wishing that the people in Pakistan get justice and freedom. Love from India.
