- To mark 20 years of Guantanamo Bay, on Saturday 8th of January 2022 we held one of the biggest online events with ex-Guantanamo prisoners and one of their lawyer. Moazzam Begg, Outreach Director of CAGE and host of this event asked remarkable questions to each man who not only survived Guantanamo, but also continued to embody faith, resilience and inspiration through it all.

Clearly, their faith kept their sanity, their humanity, We must keep demanding that Biden closes GTMO and those 39 still there are released and given refuge in safe countries with all the necessary support to rebuild their lives, Bless you all

Al salam alaikum . first jazakum allah khair for this great video. while I am was seeing and hearing the brothers what was they go through I felt that this Guantanamo was like One of the laboratory experiments on several personalities, nationalities, cultures and common tendencies in that they are Muslims to test them and make experiments for them, perhaps to create a new agenda for the war on Islam. my brother Ammar AL Baloshi year by year, month by month and day by day his body getting worst and worst . may Allah give him more patience.

MashaAllah, this was very light on the tone but very heavy on the scales, MashaAllah, MashaAllah, MashaAllah.
To speak the truth to the face of the Tyrant. The Sunnah of Ibrahim and Musa, (the examples of Abraham and Moses), may peace be upon them, is emblazoned on your Judgement Day, may Allah bless all of you with Jannatul Firdous, ameen, ameen, ameen.
The point of the Guantanamozation of other nations against Muslim societies was an eye opener for me. It never occured to me that it was an open endorsement to China, India, Myanmar. It has become "legal" outside the Rule of Law. The hypocrisy is dripping crimson for the world to witness against it on That Day, Today, and the rest of History to come. Shame on the Tyrants who are naked yet believe they are fully armoured in front of the world.
MashaAllah, to torture or to deny the rights of a Muslim is to burn Islam into their hearts. Take away the Qur'an and they will help each other to memorize it cover to cover. Take away the hijab and the women who never wore it outside prayer will become hijabis. Forbid the beard and the teenagers will suddenly sprout a crop!
If the Tyrants and their minions think they can terrorize the Islam out of our hearts, they are using the wrong weapon entirely.
In an age of wealth and leisure, when we are loosing our teenagers' attention due to games and scrolling, Allah hones the hearts if we just notice what is REALLY happening behind the screens.
May your families find healing watching you all treated as heroes after patiently enduring the slander and vilification of their sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers for so many years. May Allah elevate them with you, ameen, ameen, ameen.
