I’m 8 days out from my procedure and I can absolutely relate to your experience by day 4 I had a lot of pressure in my face and felt like a severe sinus infection but once I got my stints out day 5 and got that build up out i felt 70% better
I understand how u feel😢As I also got my throat hurt after the surgery, it develops into tonsilitis and I got very high fever for couple of days. Now after the suture and splint removed, my nose still feel a bit discomfort and feel tenderness after 10 days. Thanks for your sharing, hope u recover soon🙇🏻♀️
Had mine yesterday barely slept, was awake the whole night couldn't breathe well had to breathe thru my mouth the entire time, my mouth was dry, my lips were Dry. Bleeding was just too much had terrible headaches. Cant wait to be myself again😢
@@MadisonStrong has it helped improve your symptoms? I'm seeing a new ENT at Emory soon and I'm curious to see if he thinks we are at a point where surgery is on the table
@santasreebhattacharya1271 My right nostril is perfect. Left side not too much. When you shine light on each side you can tell the difference by how open the right side is vs the left side. The surgeon said I should give it a few months to fully heal. But I might need a revised surgery. He said he push cartilage back to open it up.
Thank you for asking!! I’m doing much better and two weeks ago I wasn’t swollen anymore but I was still tender. Overall now though, I don’t have any tenderness and the swelling is completely gone!
@@MadisonStrong that's good to hear! How long would you say you were swollen? I'm almost 3 weeks post op and I'm in the being patient process. Did one side seem bigger than the other at any point in your recovery because of the swelling? The recovery process is not as smooth as they say it is. My adenoids were removed also and on Day 11 the ear, neck, and throat pain started and I was not expecting that! It lasted about 7-8 days. Thank you for replying 🤍
@@nalaamour I would say I was swollen for about 3 weeks. I don’t think one side looked bigger than the other for me. My whole nose and some of my face was swollen. Which they said wouldn’t happen but it did to me. They definitely down play the recovery process. I would say it took close to 6 weeks to feel completely better!!
@@MadisonStrong for sure they do! Alot of these recovery videos also. When you see people up and running at 1-2 weeks it's like what??? Lol my doctor said it takes about 3 months to fully heal. That was after I asked but everyone's healing process is different. I'm glad things worked out for you. Patience is definitely needed during the healing process.
Did any of the doctors or their staff happen to inform you how painful recovery would be. Hahaha, just kidding. I already know they absolutely did not. “ you might feel a little uncomfortable, you will probably feel “ sore”. Then on top of that so many are scared to death to prescribe adequate pain meds since the so called opioid/ opiate crisis.
How are you feeling? I did the Balloon Sinuplasty and turbinate reduction less than 3 months ago. I feel much better but I am still healing, still having inflammation. I do have allergic rhinitis which clearly sucks. I will be starting LDI next week for my allergies. I hope you are healing well
I'm feeling better! my nose still hurts some but thankfully its alot less and the sinus infection is completely gone. I'm glad you are feeling better and I hope you are able to get your allergies under control!!

I'm 2 weeks post op today with what you had plus bilateral fess. I really under estimated this recovery. It is soooo difficult
Pain medication.. im actually going through this and have taken zero pain medication…sorry to hear about your experience.

@@ryanbrets7695 honestly I couldn’t tell you. My allergies are still so bad that I still dont feel the improvement I was expecting
I'm currently in day 3 and having a really hard time breathing.....They want me to get my stints out after a week
Are you not able to breathe through nose at all post surgery ?

@@inevitableexpertise1016 hope you heal soon . Were you able to breathe from your nose right after your surgery ?
@santasreebhattacharya1271 Yes but very minimal
My doctor days 2 weeks with stents
I’m sorry the recovery was hard. Why did you almost pass out?
Thank you! I have postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) so anytime my body is under stress, I have a very high chance of passing out!
🙏❤️
Its been seven days but my nose have swelling
How are you doing now? Thanks for sharing your journey. Are you still swollen? Is the inside of your nose tender?
