😂 Haha actually it wasn't half bad especially if you have to do all the camera work, I didn't even use my jacket, all the running gets your body up to temperature fast. My brother who did all the driving didn't enjoy the temperatures that much though :D

I'm usually just running a long side the car and the camera is on a gimbal and depending on the scene zooming all the way in with the lens (although this introduces more shake).

Yeah it really was unbelievable and just beautiful. It was filmed in Germany, got really lucky that day because it just started snowing. Usually we don't have a lot of snow here or at least where I live. I had to drive for two hours to get to this spot but it was totally worth it and I'm really glad I did it :D

Incredible! Looks like it is handling that snow a bit better than the UDR, but it is larger so that makes sense. I am in the process of editing a UDR snow video right now but i am having problems with rendering one of the clips. Your camera and gimble work is amazing as always! My gimbal battery only lasted 1/3 of the shoot in the current temperatures.
Are you using Premiere Pro to edit your videos?
@@CinematicRCTirol No, i use Davinci Resolve 16, but i fixed my problem by cutting out the first few seconds of the clip using my phone's built in editor. Then i replaced the clip and then it worked fine.
@Vinnes RC glad it worked. Premiere has got a lot of problems when it comes to rendering. It almost never renders a video first try without errors.

Really depends on the snow as well I think, this one was really sticky which has some advantages and disadvantages. After just a few seconds of driving the car was almost twice as heavy just because of all the snow that got stuck in there.
Paddle tires are always a big improvement. The UDR has one if I remember correctly, currently there are none available for the SBR. Hope they release some soon.

That's really disappointing with your gimbal. I'm not the biggest fan of my ronin s but the one thing it does really good, is battery life. With the old camera I could use it for 5 shots without even recharging :D

Sofern man den wackeligen Käfig in den Griff bekommt, habe da nun zwei Metallplatten verbaut, was schon einmal deutlich geholfen hat :)
@@KiTrisExtremeRc Hast den Käfig verstrebt wie Earl Moorhead bei seinem Truck? Sieht gut aus im Schnee, ja! Springt nicht so rum wie die anderen RC-Cars, wenn das Dämpferöl kalt ist. Habe Benni von German RC Playground den Tipp gegeben, die hinteren Federbeine an den Schwingen um ein oder sogar zwei Löcher Richtung Achse zu versetzen. Dadurch können die Federbeine das Chassis besser kontrollieren (weniger progressiv). Das sollte auf jeden Fall irgendetwas verändern - zum Guten oder Schlechten... wer weiß. 😃

Yeah I was really lucky that day, we drove around 2 hours to get to this spot, but it was totally worth it. In the last few years the snow got less and less here in Germany, but this was just soo nice. Really jealous at my brother, he drove the car in this video and I only had a minute or so after the shoot :D

It's so much fun, I would recommend spraying a light coating of WD40 (or something similar) over the whole car. This was the first time I did it and it really helped with the rust. I just dried the car a few hours later and was really surprised that there was almost so rust :)

It was an 1 1/2 hour drive back so some of the snow already melted and once I got home I just washed the car with some hot water and the snow melts super fast, after that I dried it to prevent rust .
When you shoot your videos, do you record everything in 120fps, or do you plan ahead and choose like 24fps for that shot, and 60 there, and 120 for that one?
Most of the clips are 120fps but I do plan ahead so if I know that I want a real time shot than I chose 24fps because of the shutter speed. You can speed up the 120fps without issues but the shutter speed os crazy high then.
Usually the beautyshots in the beging are all shot in 60 and then slowed down by 40%.
If I owned an rc car company, I would pay you to make all the promo vids. Your work is just stunning my friend 👍

Did you ever get a chance to drive this rig in the snow after you filmed this video? I know you mentioned that your brother did most of then driving here. I was just watching this again and it must have been so fun driving in all that snow.
No unfortunately not, I drove it for a minute or so at the shoot which was so much fun, the rear end is already quite loose on dirt and similar terrain but on snow it's even more which is something I really like :D
We don't have much snow here where I live, but there was some last weekend. I decided to take the EXB out because I haven't driven it for a while and it's also easier to clean afterwards.
If we get some snow again I'll probably take it out for a rip :)

Can you share how you got the shots so stable, next to the truck, while running at such speeds?
There is really nothing special to it :D
My camera is on the gimbal (Ronin-S) and I try to follow the car the best I can. The smoother you can run the better and try to train it and do it often (the more you do it the better you'll get).
I've definitely done better shots than in this video, but the snow didn't make things easier.
Also a slight amount of stabilisation in post does help. But not much otherwise you end up with really wobbly footage :D

What camera would you reccomend for under 1000$ ? mostly pics and videos
That's a really though question. Phones these days have really impressive cameras but I would always recommend getting a dedicated camera.
I don't know too many cameras in this price range. Do you have any specific ones that you are interested in?
In general I can recommend Panasonic cameras. The auto focus isn't the best but anything else is outstanding. But most of them start over 1000$ (Gh5 / S5).
Only just found you channel but you have some really good videos on here. It was interesting to see how your production has improved over the years (A7s iii nice!) excellent job. I'd like to see a behind the scenes one day to see how you get all the shots.

This literally looks and sounds better than the ad losi made themselves like the only reason I bought the sbr 2.0 was cuz of this video, when I saw the losi ad the truck didn’t really show its true potential, it felt like losi was advertising the real Brent help truck instead of the rc, there wasn’t much of a focus on the rc itself, however I understand that they were trying to compare the sbr and the real thing but the way they presented it was bad

That's definitely an awesome idea, maybe at some point for sure but I'm not that good with audio design yet, so I have to improve on that. And I would probably have to get a good microphone for the camera so I could record the sounds. So maybe some day :D

Nice! Did you notice a difference with the braces?
I would say yes but it is really hard for me to tell. My first drive was also the first shoot I did with it and during a shoot you hardly get a feel for a new car. Because you always drive it for 2/3 seconds and then stop and wait until you take the next shot.
But with the braces the flex is 100% gone and I‘m pretty sure it also improved the handling by a lot although that’s the part which is hard for me to tell :)

I made one, around one year ago. I'll do an updated one at some point, but these videos are so much work because I have to get all my old footage and edit everything. Back then it was around 1,5TB just from 2019 and around 23 hours of footage :D

Difficult question to be honest :D
In general I'm really happy with the new camera but there are some things which I don't like. But maybe they get fixed with a future firmware update.
The most annoying thing for me is that you can't disable noise reduction. The Sony one is quite brutal and it kills quite a bit of details and just looks more "plasticy". Difficult to explain, but I just wish you had the option to disable it. And usability isn't the best although this could be because I'm a long time Gh5 user so I still have to adapt to the new menu :D
But yeah the camera produces some incredible images especially the 4k 120fps looks stunning. The image is a huge upgrade from the Gh5 but I think I would prefer the image of a Panasonic s1h. The problem with that camera is the terrible auto focus and you don't have so many high frame rate options compared to the A7s.
But I still have my Gh5 and I really love this camera. Value wise it's still one of the best in my eyes. The only cameras that could be better are the Blackmagic Pocket cameras :)

@@DarkiiDen Correct but the Fx6 has a lot of features missing which the A7s III has so it's overall a weird situation :D
I also need a small and light camera so I can run along side the cars, so the A7s is probably the best camera out there for me :)

What do you mean with help for the Analytics? There is really not much that one can do about the Algorithm :)
@@KiTrisExtremeRc but what I can do is that I can study them and I can tell you if you need to make your video shorter longer better intros different thumbnails there's a lot to learn from charts and I've done it with my tnrc channel I might only have 11 Subs but my videos are hitting Hunter 200 300 views which is better than even mrbeast in Dude Perfect for a sub to view rated if you don't want help I understand but I have a passion for RC cars and I think your content is way underrated you put way too much time and effort just getting a couple thousand views if you don't think I know what I'm talkin about that's fine we can wait two months and you can look at my channel and see how much it's grown oh believe me I read mutant multiple RUclips books and watched hours of videos on this type of stuff.

I don't want to make clicky thumbnails or something like that. My videos always will be around 2-3minutes long. So there is not a lot of playing room. Hope you can understand :)

And I totally understand you want to keep doing what you're doing what I can find from your analytics I can tell you you don't have to act on it I'm just giving you options to be able to get in a few more views and stuff maybe be able to make a little bit more money cuz I know it takes a long time to do this my video wasn't even very good and it took me five hours to do everything I'm assuming your videos probably take 15 or 20 so I understand if you don't want to that's fine but I really just trying to help maybe you can make a little bit more maybe make a little bit more with your time because Traxxas videos are as good as you and they've made a half-million off of their videos
These kind of RC videos are just not the type of videos that the Algorithm likes. Not sure about your videos but some of mine videos have over 15%CTR and 70% watch time. This is really good and every normal video with these analytics would go viral. But these videos are a niche, so not many are actually interested in these kind of videos.
The reason why Traxxas generates that many views is simply because they have a huge amount of subscribers because that's the brand channel. They also generated a lot of subscribers back in the day when the algorithm was different. I make these videos for quite some time now and I can tell you that back in the day I made more views than today (with less than 1k subs and way less videos). But 2018 the algorithm got changed and my content is just not suited for it. Since half a year it got a little bit better but in 2019 there were months where I made 20 subs. It just is what it is and believe me I know how the analytics work, there is really not much that I can do about it as long as I want to keep making these videos. These videos won't get any more views unless I change the videos and the thumbnails. And that's just something I'm not interested in. But appreciate your input, thanks :)

@@christian2427 I haven't driven it a lot that's for sure but I still bashed it quite a bit. Obviously you can't send it like an Arrma, but that's just the nature of these kind of trucks (especially with the weight).

@@KiTrisExtremeRc i changed every single bolt of the car :D way too much to list it up :( Its finally at its stage, that i can bash it for a hour or so without anything is braking.

That's correct but I use GRP S7 tires on mine now and they work great and hold up much longer.
Kraton 6s is also a fantastic car no doubt :)
