Fantastic fast tips Matt, I've definitely been guilty of putting the ball outside my left heel teeing it too high reaching for the ball and skying it. This'll definitely help add structure to my driving top man.
I’m a 110-112 club head speed and I use a heavy regular. Helps me release it better. Because you swing fast doesn’t always mean X flex. Loads of other factors there
Great….but in the picture of Rory that you are showing towards the end of the video, he has the ball somewhat behind the spot you are recommending…can you please comment. Thanks
Cheers Matt ‘ nice simple video to start new year ‘ Happy new year you and thanks for all the content’ ‘👍’ 2024 big year for RUclips golf so keep it going dude ‘
I know I tee the ball a little high, but when I have it "where it should be" it mentally gets to me, like I'm going to hit bottom of the driver OR hit the ground first. Teeing it high, I generally drive it about 230 carry.
Great tips for sure but my curiosity is killing me...... Is that a Detroit Pistons hat you're rocking? If so hell yeah dude I love it. That's my hometown team🤙💪🤙
My old club had mats for last 2 months and I was carrying about 200yds with driver. My knew club still uses grass tees for winter, which are soft, I was struggling to carry a drive 175yds😦 Assuming its because I lacked confidence to use the ground as I would off mats? Am I correct in my thinking?
I had this problem for a while and in the end bringing the ball a bit back helped. It sounds counterintuitive but it actually promoted me to hit up on the ball rather than hitting down on it. 🤷
Best advice is to go and have a lesson with your local PGA teaching professional, they will be able to see how you swing and then help you accordingly.
Buy your own rubber driver tee that goes under the mat at the range ,cut it down so it’s exactly the height you want and you use on the course , don’t make do with a tee they’d too short or miles too high .Drivers hard to hit ,tee height is very important .
Love this common sense tips. I need to watch this video before every round. A very sincere thank you.
Cheers Matt. I've lost my way somewhat with Driver and I think this will get me back on track. Great tips.

I make all 3 of these mistakes and also a 4th.
Regular shaft for a 105+ club speed.

Good goin' for Tip Tuesday!
You know it!!
On the graphic of Rory you say that the spine needs to be tilted away from target however the caption actually says spine tilted towards target
Happy New Year Matt. I thought the average on tour was 1 degree down. If so, is that because they have the speed to make it work?

If it works, stick with it. Sometimes, we are all square pegs trying to get in a round hole. The result is the important thing. 👍👍
That's plenty of distance for the ladies' tees 😁

Hit it with a wet slipper😂 Often tee it lower when trying to keep it on the course Great tips Matt
I feel like I'm fairly well off when it comes to setup and all it's really just the delivery for me
Words say Rory has spine tilt away from target but your diagram reads tilt toward.
I tend to have ball marks high up on the driver any help please
