Glad you enjoyed your visit. We went there today. I've always enjoyed it. Got to see some Spitfires and the B-17 'Sally B' take off as well on their way to air shows. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
Oh wow! We only saw private aircraft take off when we were there. Very jealous. It's not the cheapest day out, but it's certainly worth every penny! Thanks for watching and commenting. We really appreciate it. Matt and Issy
Hi guys, looked amazing. I can remember.going to Duxford with my parents when I was a girl and also the Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire - my Dad was nuts about planes! I'm a bit like you Issy on the plane front I have to say but great to see Matt's enthusiasm! Sienna looked like she had a good time too. 💗 Thanks as ever for recording the video! Looks like another heatwave here in Norfolk from tomorrow! This Summer has certainly been a strange one!
Hi, Matt certainly was excited to go there! We just couldn't believe how much there was to see. They even do display days there too, which would be great to see, although not sure what Sienna would makenof all the noise! The weather has certainly improved over the last few days. We'll all be complaining it's too hot soon! 😁 Have a great Week. Matt and Issy x
This is so much better than the one in Salford. Salford is free to enter but there isn’t much in there and you can walk around in literally 5 minutes. I would love to go to the one you visited.
Duxford is apparently the largest air museum in the UK, although we didn't know this at the time. It's just over one side of the country so it's going to be quite a distance to travel for a lot of people. It's well worth the visit though. Hope you're having a good weekend! Matt and Issy
That part of the museum is entirely about US planes and operations. Many SR71s were based the the UK during the cold war due to our proximity to Russia and other soviet states. We still have American air bases here in the UK. We actually have one 15 minutes from our house.
Shame they are scrapping the land warfare hall, they obviously don't like tanks.they are building research buildings instead,so no arena for tank driving, poor old DAS.
We didn't know that! Oh no, what a shame. The land warfare hall was one of our favourite parts of the whole museum. Thanks for watching though. Matt and Issy
Looks really impressive.
We had a great time! Would highly recommend it. Matt and Issy

This looks amazing! My other half would love this, will definitely plan a visit!
We were very impressed and had a great time! Hope you have a great time when you manage to visit. Matt and Issy

You should visit and review the international helicopter museum in Weston-super-mare
Great recommendation! We'll take a look and when we're next in that area we'll visit. Thanks for watching! Matt and Issy
I was a volunteer at IWM Duxford for nearly 30 years.
Oh wow! Do you get more access to the planes etc? There must be some perks you would think?
There is a courtesy bus that is available to transport visitors.
I’m going in October I think
Awesome... have a great time. It's excellent! Matt and Issy
I live practically opposite! I’m super lucky
Amazing! We really enjoyed our visit!
Why does the uk have an American plane/jet like the sr71
