Just wanted to thank everyone for all the views! I did not expect so many people would enjoy me playing along to a song I heard in a minecraft meme. Recorded another bossa to say thanks: ruclips.net/video/oZd9L_we1U8/видео.html
Thanks for playing the original, i love that how it sounds and the music is so calm, i admire you for giving right title, because other cover they just put the "Omae wa mou cover", you are the only person who cover the original. I respect you for playing the original, i hope you play the other bossa nova songs.
People who cant play the bass this well all while owning that bearded look like a baws...id b dead jealous enough but since im a fellow musician only loves and likes for this vid
First cover of this song I've managed to find that actually titles it correctly and of course, it is a bassist. This just lends further evidence to the fact that bassists are the coolest musicians.
WOW this is the instrumentalist behind thsi song So good so talented! Love the little girl voice. Reminder of my growing up in Japan the sweet cuteness... 😊
thanks. I saw your comment before the edit and wondered if you were referring to the octaves. I couldn't stray too far without changing the feel, so octaves are a nice way to add variation without really changing anything.
The guys that made this song are a bossa nova touhou circle called toho bossa nova (Touhou is a japanese bullet hell game). They have a lot of songs. Go check em out. Aslo sick bass dude
In the brazilian bossa nova use triades, when you resolve a tone, for examle C, you can use the triade of CMayor, but, to groove more "jazzy" you can convine a mode, examole the mexolidian or dorian
