    If you come to USA legally these EO on birthright citizenship should not impact you.

    • @coppersulphate002

      @wamnicho I'm taking specifically those who have the intention to move and live in USa

    • @wamnicho
      @wamnicho 7 дней назад

      @ just because you have the intention to move and live in the USA doesn’t mean you will be granted citizenship right away after you land. The process can take years sometimes even decades and during that time, you will be on some kind of temporary visa that will have to be constantly renewed. If you’re on a visa and you have a child, that means that kid won’t be a citizen

  • @Tonesnob72

    The 250 thousand or more births would not be affected.

    Subject to the jurisdiction thereof" means that a person is fully under the legal authority of a particular governing body, in this context usually referring to the United States, meaning they are subject to its laws and owe allegiance to no other country; this phrase is most commonly found in the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution regarding citizenship by birth.
    To "owe allegiance to another country" means to be legally bound by a duty of loyalty and obedience to that country's government, essentially pledging your faithfulness and commitment to uphold its laws and interests as a citizen of that nation.
    14th amendment states you can not owe allegiance to another country. When you are a citizen of another country you owe allegiance to that country meaning the 14th amendment does not pertain to that person hence the birth of a child from someone already a citizen of another country exempts that person from 14th amendment. People will bring up Sandford supreme court but courts don’t always get it right as they just overturned row v wade , Chevron deference and affirmative action all once approved by the Supreme court only to be overturned by the Suoreme court and rightly so.

    As a foreigners I fully support Trump and his EO. It is reassuring to know that there are laws that must be respected and that it is not a banana republic
    Too many foreign people came to the country and abused the immigration system. And it's not fair to people like me who are going through the legal and expensive process to get immigrate to America

    • @Tonesnob72

      Anyone can be a citizen it just can’t be done legally by a tourism birthright unlike most liberals believe because they do t understand the language of the 14th amendment. kudos to you and America welcomes you.

      no people just don’t know how to interpret the lawyer language of the 14th amendment.
