As of recently Thailand has re-opened most businesses, restaurants, malls, and now hotels. So my wife, son, and I wanted to get away from Bangkok for a day. We drove just south of Bangkok about 1.5 hours to Pattaya, a famous seaside city in Thailand. Just south of Pattaya, but still considered part of Pattaya is Bang Saray (บางเสร่), much more quiet and relaxed than the center of Pattaya. #Pattaya #Thailand #hotel
Bang Saray Seafood (ร้านอาหาร บางเสร่ ซีฟู้ด) - But first things - before checking into the hotel, we stopped for some Thai food at Bang Saray Seafood (ร้านอาหาร บางเสร่ ซีฟู้ด). The restaurant was nice, overlooking the pier and fishing boats.
Kept Bang Saray Hotel Pattaya (g.page/keptbangsaray?share) - My wife booked this hotel for one night, I didn’t even know anything about it before arriving. Turned out to be a great small boutique hotel, right along the water. Staff were friendly and helpful, there were plenty of social distancing and hygiene measures in place. And she booked the room with a private swimming pool overlooking the hotel. It was quite a cool room, and we had a lot of fun splashing around in the water. Breakfast in the morning was also great, a buffet with vegetables, and a full array of pre-cooked Thai food in the morning. One things to note about this hotel in Pattaya is that it’s on the sea, but it’s not really a swimming beach. Price - 7,300 THB ($231.51) per night, for the room we had. There are other room options as well.
It was a great short trip, and nice to get out of Bangkok with hotels re-opening and tourism opening back up domestically in Thailand.

Ah, I just returned to States after four years living in Jomtien, the town on the other side of Pattaya from where you stayed. I followed US Embassy advice, hectoring everyone to return to States. BIG MISTAKE. I'm in Maryland still in lockdown while Thailand reopened after less than two months.
Well, I'll live in Thailand vicariously though you and your amazing family, Mark. Few more years, Micah's going to be running circles around you on the basketball court, yelling, "C'mon old man. Got nothing left?" They grow up fast. Enjoy him much as you can with your beautiful wife.

@Jo Ha ha. I'm too smart for that. I only went to Pattaya to visit my doctor monthly, stayed in family-oriented Jomtien, though now bereft of most Russians.
@@leventlevent399 - Last I heard, Thailand doesn't allow international flights into the country. Airlines sent in empty planes to fly people out. Maybe they've reopened by now.

When he is at his home he eats mainly fruits and veggies.I saw him say this on one of of his vlogs.That's the way he balances his meat consumption when he travels! Thailand has so many types of fresh veggies and fruits- much more varieties than available here in US!

Still a lot of hardwork goes in mark told he has to do 15-16 hrs or work. A day and even during travelling he has to do work for 4-6 hrs atleast the things he gets are well deserved
I would say it is probably not millions but he works hard for his success.The sitting and eating in an exotic setting is only one small part.A lot of organization by many people would be involved to get to all these far flung places for special experiences!

@@EternallyGod why don't you try and pay attention. A lot of countries are starting to open up for tourism, just because they don't allow people from other countries yet, doesn't mean you can't be a tourist in your own country. 🙄
