Recently, I've been struggling horribly with ball striking to the point of nearly giving up golf, after hundreds of hours of practice building my swing...fast forward to now: just got home from absolutely the best range practice I've ever had, and a near effortless feeling of greatness (RIP Moe)... it's your content that transformed my golf swing literally overnight. Thank you
You made my day with this comment. I’m here to serve and it’s so rewarding to hear when you’ve made an impact! With your permission I would like to use this fantastic testimonial down the road. I’m so glad you found what works for you! Thank you! Andrew ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Looking forward this exact video but with Driver and hitting up on the ball , i.e., where the tennisracket will turn up , struggling with this my self . Great video with iron !
I’m glad you liked the video Michael! I love Ireland - Rain or Shine! Great people/hospitality, food and of course some of the best golf on the planet! Thanks for watching and welcome aboard! Coach A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Been struggling off the tee (again)Andrew. Find myself pushing my drives way right or coming over the top left. Every once in a while I do it correctly and bomb it right down the middle (240-260). I understand what you’re suggesting in this video but just can’t seem to do it consistently. This is so frustrating and holding me back from dropping from a 12 handicap to single digits.
Hi Dave - you need a fairway finder! Either an intentional fade or draw!! Play to your shot shape. And, if you don’t have a dominant shape then exaggerate one way or the other until you do and then go from there! Aiming down the middle and swinging it with no intention (who knows?!) Maybe consider an online coaching session! At least that way we can formulate a plan based on your swing pattern. There can be no improvement without a plan! A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Seriously great content. Your videos really compliment one another. Your teachings are compounded with each lesson, adding depth with a new technique/perspective. And it evolves and expands. So cool to be learning, especially learning about golf. Thanks, Andrew!!
I started golfing this season as a righty, but realized that I really should be a lefty. Feels a lot better! But... I slice as if I'm trying to cleave the skies. I look forward to testing this! Been watching your other videos. Hope that I'll finally get a nice draw. Would you say that this technique - or way of thinking - is applicable to driver as well? That's where my biggest slice is.
Oscar, thanks for the comment! Monitor your arm tension, and feel the toe of the club rotating ‘before’ you make contact! Most people drag the toe and try and release ‘at’ the ball which is too late! Get after it! Best, Coach A. ⛳️🏌️♂️🙏🏻
Not to mention, this is a great way to swing for seniors, or anyone who has lower back issues (both of which am I) thanks Andrew, great stuff as always!
Strong grip, great advice, in the 80s i played with one, then had lessons to get to single figures, changed my grip to netural, my game went downhill, got frustrated, i packed up for years, started again in 2018, first thing i did was play with a strong grip, my stock shot is a draw, although i can fade if required, I'm now at age 69 playing of low single digits. If i practice which isn't often, i use my driver head cover instead of the wood, excellent advice

It definitely doesn’t torque your body which is a huge plus as we get older! Cheers! A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻

Can you please make a video on putting?

You can also use a rolled up towel or pool noodle if you don't have a piece of 2x4
That works!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing
Thank you! 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻
