F77 is still a good proof of how good Indian two wheeler engineering has gotten over the recent years. Especially in the EVs, I can see that India is truly a force to be reckoned with.
I believe with your inputs, the F77 is gonna get better over time and become a global revolution among the EVs. Its a proud moment for what they've already achieved. Thank you Sagar for work over this, and to the F77 team for making a big impact.
Ultraviolette Mach 2 owner here - It was raining wild in Hyderabad continuously over the weekend and it was a sunday. I put on my helmet my protective gloves and a good show. Went on the NH44 towards Kurnool. At first i was scared cuz i never ride fast in a heavy rain. Istg when i did, F77 at regen 9 and rain traction mode, made me feel safer i touched top speed twice and went back hom happily.
sagar feels the f77 is a good product. But how are they going to grow if the market for such a product is so niche right now? and without the numbers, isnt it just going to be difficult for the company to stay in business?
They believe they are enough and more takers for something unique and they have more products in the pipeline. Also the running costs of an ev is less compared to Ice motorcycles.

Honestly Sarge, I'm a petrol head and not a huge fan of EVs. But boy! that looks cool and the way you highlighted the details made me think I should try this out on the road. And yes, I totally agree with you on the value proposition of the future with updates and that insane additional cover.
I wish there was an option for regen to be controlled by a thumb trigger, or a clutch lever like lever, or twisting the throttle in opposite direction like the ather 450 apex.
I hope a new model of ultraviolette F77 will come with a CCS type 2 port for doing long rides. A lot of 4 wheeler DC fast charging stations are available currently in india
@@ArpanMukhopadhyay93 One startup company named raptee had created an electric bike with a CCS2 port. They are launching that vehicle soon in upcoming months. Same thing should have been done by ultraviolette f77
If this is the future of motorcycling I'm all in, will obviously lean more towards combustion powered motorcycles more, but the EV revolution with such good bikes from our domestic market seem this good can't wait to see more foreign brands coming over for a whole lot of join collaborations with Indian companies like Ultraviolet 🚀🚀
I think EVs should use a seperate lever, either on the handle bar or as a foot lever, for regen, which will act like a break, but depends completely on regen. That way the learning curve won't be so steep for people coming from ICEs. And it will feel more natural.
Definitely the best EV available in the market but the problem is the infrastructure availability of chargers and after sales service and at the end most concerning is Range Anxiety, will take some time doninate the market after some years i guess
I rode it couple days ago, Feels like OLA s1 PRO on hyper mode obviously almost 2x quicker but post 100 KMPH the power drops drastically, the bike lacks the feel of riding, no character whatsoever. Looks amazing and build quality is very good but man i decided to go with a ICE maybe a Duke 390 or GT650 or the RS457 to be quicker and faster and smile everytime i smell the petrol and listen to the engines roar for the same price.
I am also becoming little more greedy. They should also try to have their own helmet which can be used for voice commands to change the track mode. This can be more handy when we are in emergency situations.
I am getting a bit fed up by the fact that I can still not try it out / buy it here in the Netherlands (= Europe). How long must my patience still last? It has literally been years already.
The UV F77 arent just targetting Indian market, they wanna get it to international standards. Thats what i feel. But there were some staunch criticisms about the chassis. Whats your take on this? Because it should improve the product in future iterations. The guys at UV are not doling out half baked products. They are serious and that shows in this
I got myself a F77 Mach 2 a month back approx and absolutely love it! The one thing that I want to know is about the aero disc which comes as an accessory and as I can see has been installed on your bike. I too have it and I have had issues with it where the bike sways a bit weirdly. I got it replaced once already which made it better but still has a bit of sway as I rode my bike without it and it had no issues at all. Did you encounter any such issue?
Mimicking engine braking as on an ICE is crucial to my riding style. Do you know if they can push this as an OTA update, or will it require hardware changes?
why these manufactures like Ultraviolette dont take the services of reviewers like you in the production stage so that they don't miss out on the small and big details?.. Like you spoke about font size and regen could kick in before zero throttle.. Inputs from reviewers like you can help these companies to make near perfect machine which tend to have difficulties in getting that sales figure.
I must say, I absolutely love this format of presentation. You sitting down after an exhilarating ride and sharing your inputs makes the video more insightful. Don't get me wrong, your POV videos are really good, but watching you talk about motorcycles you ride after you've ridden them just hits differently. I hope you consider switching to this format.
Why do ev bikes dont have the rear brake in the place of the clutch just like a scooter? There are no gears anyway, so why not keep the legs free and put all the controls at the hands and make it equal instead of only on the right side of the body.
Hey good informative review than the other bullshit reviewers. I only have complaints about charging sockets, why don't they put type 2 charging sockets like cars. The cars slow charger will act for the bike as fast charger and we have plenty of those chargers. We all have seen marc travels video as he rides all over India with zero motorcycles.

It would be more advantageous to acquire a pre-owned Iron 883 motorcycle or a brand-new GT 650 motorcycle in that price. Under no circumstances would I consider purchasing an electric-powered toy, even if it were offered at a significantly reduced price! I appreciate the raw power and sound of a motorcycle engine. The louder the sound and the more vibration it produces, the more masculine it feels to me.
Masculity is not from your motorcycle 😂 it is an inherent property.. if you're feeling less masculine on any vehicle maybe need to relook at your thinking
Performance EV just makes sense cause you don't have worry about engine blowing itself when you do stupid things on it 😜😜😜😜. You will only have to bear cost of tyres and pads. No engine oil, no air filter, no oil filter and no worrying about clutch plates.
It's insane how no one understands Regen at all. Regen can't kick in as long as throttle is active, you have to leave the throttle. A motor can either convert Electrical Energy into mechanical (Drive mode) or convert latent Mechanical Energy into Electrical Energy (Regen mode). So as long motor is generating mechanical energy, it can't regenerate, it's impossible. So no, Ultraviolette can't calibrate Regen to be active before throttle is 0. If throttle isn't 0, Motor is still in drive state. Also Regen doesn't add any grip. It just converts Energy. If regen is off, Vehicle will continue to coast like it happens with super refined engines. If regen is active, Vehicle slows down depending on how strong regen is
Wait and watch 😉. And going by what you said about regen and grip, i am not even going to bother explaining. Whatever floats your boat my friend sail on! 🛟

Just a thought, since there is no clutch lever why not repurpose that lever to facilitate the change of Regen levels on the fly.
You can anyways do it with the press of a button on the fly
For longer distances, they should collaborate with ather's charging network.
