  • -it’s very important that we you get baby parrot that you give your parrot enough time to adapt to new environment and new family.
-you have to remember that you are new to him and he is new to you so give each other enough time to get used to each other.
-leave your parrot in cage first 1 to 2 weeks and after open the door and let him come out him self.
-in some cases your baby may be very quiet but that’s to do with him listening to you and learning from u.
-over all your a flock so get used to it 😄😄😄😄🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜

Thank you for your videos. I just purchased an Alexandrine parrot after owning cockatiels for many years so these videos are very informative as to what to expect from the species and how to interact with them.

good tips! 👍🏻 for anyone wondering about this species of parrot, they do not like to be touched/petted. please don’t pet them the way you would a cat or dog because they do not allopreen in the wild and at most, they’ll tolerate it but your bond will be stronger if you just stick to beak kisses!

What about an Adult Alexandrine parrot? I bought mine grown, seems to be just as scared but I think it's warming up. How long should he be in the cage? it's been 3 days since.

      Hi there.
      Alex is very unique parrot.
      Sort of weird 😄
Very cute and super smart but they like to have space. That will watch you and work u out -do not push them too much they will love you but you will need to deserve their love. Yes. Have 1 and love him for ever. As long as u can. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

My Alex is six months and his feathers are starting to turn gray at the ends. Do you give yours extra vitamin and mineral? I think my babe is missing nutrients

Hello there. 6 months old is very young. Your parrot get lot of nutrients from fruit veg seeds and nuts. Also calcium is important so would recommend cuttle fish bone. It’s very good for parrot.
