King, Saitama, and Fubuki really make this season. I love their little group lol. Well, them and Garou.
Also if you didn't notice, Saitama saved her from the explosion from Genos and Sonic's fight. The entire ground but everything behind him was blown up, protecting Fubuki.
Yeah, that's a nice touch. Also the fact that he was lecturing her instead of being indifferent like always shows that he cares for her.

King seems to be very unlucky and lucky at the same time. My suspicion is that his luck will run out if he takes it for granted.
I love the way Fubuki moved from being top bitch to just some girl in the prescence of Saitama's crowd.

(Also, Fubuki is one of the hottest women in the whole anime genre)

Despite Sonic seeing Saitama as his rival, him and Genos basically follow the traditional rival rules where at any given time Genos and Sonic are about at even strength with each other.
Sonic is just a self proclaimed delusional rival. He's nowhere near a fodder for Saitama 😂

Fubuki is the best girl in this anime series, and also my favorite character. She's so cute and adorable, and she has the same voice actor as Shinobu from Demon Slayer, in case you didn't already know.
Consider that King was attacked by three different monsters in about an hour in what's probably a typical day, and the only scratch on him is from immediately before he first met Saitama a couple years ago. He should have been killed 15,000 times over, unless he has some factor working in his favor.
Currently the manga is easily at half of season 5 if they animated it 😑
Depending of how much they put into season 3, if they go with an 24 episode season 3, they could cover the full arc in one go, which would make sense, since it is hard to find a good cutting point in the middle of the arc.
If so, then the manga would be at half of season 4.
Since halve the trailer for season 3 is Garou, I think that indicates that he should play a big role in season 3, which would only be the case, if it is indeed the full arc, in my opinion.

Yeah, there doing a lot of story embellishment in the manga. Really getting into backstories of characters like Sonic.
One thing I can say about season 2 is that the animation is more cartoony than season one.
I never understand why animation companies just stop animating a manga. OPM season1 and 2 have been so successful. Why did they take so much time to announce season 3? Same with HUNTER X HUNTER.
I love how Saitama is so fast, that Sonic has to deduce what Saitama did.

Season 2 is the beginning of a huge arc. It's slightly more story driven and has most character development for different characters that appeared in season 1. Season 3 (yet to come out) and Season 4 (depends on the success of season 3) is where you'll see incredible incredible action and massive threats.
for most season 1 is better than season 2 because of the animation but me personally i liked season 2 better

Right, you can prefer season 2, but objectively season 1 is a 10/10, season 2 is not bad, but imo it's a 7.5/8 at most.
2 gets into some of the real interesting stuff writing wise and i love fubuki, garou, and the s class, but Madhouse just hit an animation peak in s1 that s2 couldnt' come close to

I love how Fubuki ended her attack chain with a box cutter. To me, it said a lot about her. Her path has not been an easy one.
I still maintain that King is Saitama only real friend. Everyone else "close" to him wants something from Saitama. Sure, there are heroes that respect him. But only King spends time with Saitama just to spend time with him and vice versa. I always like when King makes an appearance.
King is my favourite characters. I can't wait to see him more in the next season. To me, he's as funny of a character than puri puri prisonner. His luck is absurd and hilarious

His luck is terrible in how often monsters come straight to where he is, but in another bizarre way, he seems lucky as somehow he always gets out of it and then is credited for defeating the monster LOL. I guess getting the credit for it might not be that great since it's how he got into his mess, but he should have died a million times over and somehow is still alive.

his voice didn't changed but he's a lot more serious in this season so far, last season, he would be playful and bubbly
Season 2 is hilarious, and also develops the story and world more

Don't think they explicitly say it in the manga, but I'm pretty sure King has a super power, it's just not strength, his power is attracting bad guys and also good guys to fight the baddies.

I concurr with those that say season 2 is better than season 1, it's the start of my favorite character of the show after all: Garo.👾 2. Fubuki; 3. Tatsumaki; 4. King.🙂↔️

I think Season 1 is definitely better than Season 2. They changed animation studios and the actions is not as dynamic as it was in Season 1. Additionally, the story slows down a bit as it kicks off a longer arc. For me, Season 2 is a bridge to Seasons 3 and hopefully 4 where things will be crazy-bananas.

, those people have problems upstairs, the animation took a tremendous dip, pure still scenes with many effects but no movements in the image,,,,,,,,,and I'm not sure if you noticed, when they made it clear that King is basically the top S 7 at the expense of the achievements that should be Saitama's

where the user can even beat enemy using luck. every move he execute it is always right. luck will strike. as you can see king has a large aura like saitama in season 1 when boros meet saitama and saw its aura.

While funny that kings ranking is basically because he stole all of Saitamas credit for most of his deeds that went unnoticed. Some say he actually does posses S class powers. There are hints that his super power is luck and that it bends events around him to benefit him.

Definitely not better. Garou sucks. He got bullied as a kid by a bad kid playing hero and so now he bullies actual heroes because he has plot armor. Common culture has warped what used to be Rooting For The Underdog into a psychotic support for villains, while ignoring their villainy. It's one of many unfortunate facets of the decay of modern society.
S2 has different animation studio, which had a lot less time to make the season. There is so much hate, when people compare it with S1.
It is visually worse, but the plot is actually better.
Yes, this season skips a good amount of manga panels, but overall it gives us the feelings, the chills, so why hate.
Anyway we will see in S3 if it was really a time problem, because the studio will be the same.

I'm a fan of Garou, but overall I like season 1 more. The hero exam, Saitama vs. Genos and the whole Boros fight are fantastic.
Season 2 is also fun, but not as iconic as season 1 is. Also season 1 is a marvel animation-wise.
