As a child, Garou rooted for a monster called Crab Demon. Remember when Saitama told Crablante that he reminded him of a villain he saw in an anime as a kid?

When Genos asked Saitama what he was still lacking, and he just said, "Uh, power. I guess.", the reason Genos was so happy to that was for what Saitama didn't say. He didn't tell him he needed to fight smarter, or show greater determination or courage. By saying he needed power, Saitama was telling him that, in his mind, he was acting like what Saitama considered a hero should be.

Fun fact: In the manga it's showed that that the punch that destroyed Elder Centipede was a Serious Punch, but Saitama didn't said the name unlike the first time. Also season 3 should be comming soon and it may look even better as production time is longer than season 2, which had a very short one forcing the animators to cut corners.

It was going to be 4 years but something happened with an event that included animators. Everyone that joined this event were all doing a strike because they was not getting paid enough for their hard work. The strike is over and just a day after, we get the video ad of Season 3, that video with Garou on it. The whope world went crazy when it came out and all I have to say is, I told you all so. I called out Season 3 will be made. Everyone called me retarded, now who's retatded. BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 😂

I don't know, I somehow never sympathized with adult Garou. I felt sorry for him when he was a child, but Silverfang was always kind to him, he could have really come to his senses in the dojo. Instead, he became a real jerk.

There are season 2 OVAs.
These last few episodes are some of the best anticipation building sections I've seen in any show, and it for it have taken half a decade so far with no payoff is rough to say the least.
Ali, you are actually very lucky that it took so long for you to watch OPM because every time you hear season 3 is going to go into production there is no official word on it and another year goes by. Your wait for season 3, if it ever gets made, will be much shorter than others have been waiting so Im glad you won't have to wait as long. Out of all the reactions to OPM I have seen, and ive seen some good ones, yours is the best. I love how you pick up on the small things as well as the big and how you really enjoy every memeable, smartass, serious, heartfelt, goofy moment.

It's not mentioned, but that was a Killer Move: Serious Series: Serious Punch, so Elder Centipede was indeed pretty tough.
Saitama could have killed Elder Centipede normally but King specifically said he needed to make sure Elder Centipede's massive body doesn't crush the nearby city when dead.

Now you might realize Garou doesn't actually like children, they just happen to fall into the profile he cares for, that he was in as a kid: weaklings who are considered trash and bullied by others, their opinions disregarded because it's different. If you think about it some monsters fit in the criteria too, heroes go all the time over the top slaughtering them for little reason like that obnoxious Amay Mask. Most monsters aren't to Garous liking but those who are treated unfairly are. His monster self proclaimed title is just an emphasis of that fact.😏

Garou is legendary in the manga. Insane in the next story arc which is very long, 24 episodes long if animated.

@@roulgam1ng1 nah 24 at least if not more , there is a LOT of content . the MA arc is from the end of season 2 which is chapter 85-86 until chapter 170 and a lot of these chapters were long like 60-70 and sometimes even 140+ pages chapters so it needs at the very least 26 episodes and thats with cutting content

A lot of people hate on S2 for not being up to S1's art style but man, they absolutely killed it with the sound design. King having so much faith in Saitama at the end scene was freaking epic. "Saitama?! SAITAMA!!" lol so good right as Centichoro is coming down.

Also about the relationship between Garou and the child (Tareo), i realized in these episodes that he probably liked and wanted to help this kid because he reminded him to himself as a kid, that lonely child that was bullied by the others. I find the interaction between them so wholesome, and i love both Garou and Tareo so much, there's also more of them in the manga (and season 2), you will see!
You won't have to wait long, the next season could be the end of this year or next year, Saitame and Garu's fight is going to make your head explode haha
Saitama vs Awakened Garou: Cosmic Fear Mode is not going to be in Season 3. Unless you are referring to their confrontation after Garou dine and dashes then yes.

Simply one of the best anime ever. We are all waiting for season 3. The manga blew me away. Hope we get to see Cosmic Gorou vs. Saitama animated. Probably gonna break the Internet, maybe even more so than Ultra Instinct Gouku or Gear 5th Lufy.
It is not blood. It should be mionsterfication. Garou is simply starting to mutate just like how others turned to monsters before, like the crab monster in season 1.
In the OPM universe, desire and will can turn you into monsters, or other "things".

I don't know in how many seasons they will split the 3rd arc, but it is something else! Epic moment after epic moments, and very dramatic! One of the best arc in action manga history! My humble opinion, This one and the coming demon slayers movies!
