Please get Level III+ plates when you can. When you do add a radio to your non-dominant side, Id recommend spending some cash on a cable relocation kit so you can attach the antenna on your back. I'd only attach the radio itself on my back if I was working in a team on maritime assaults.
If you’re utilizing atak or itak civ, I’d recommend getting a small PC (sub $200) to put in your room to run your own ATAK server, so you can train and get the full functionality out of it
Fellow 2.0 user. Swapped my shoulders out for the arc v2 pads and they are super nice a lil bulky but they stay out the way. Make sure u run a thinner profile sling tho
We never were issued armor when I was wrenching on C-130s in the AF I have a combat shirt and PC with plates now but Im wondering in warm weather should I wear anything under my combat shirt? If so what?
JPC is okay for short period of time, for longer periods of time get something with big chonky straps and a lot of cushion. shellback banshee, agilite K19. We used this as CTs in few hour city operations to be easier for sitting in a car and lighter load out, other than that it sucks

@@joegeorge9477 Absolutely, its good to learn from other sof units, i worked as counter terror, most of our gear is overweight, big, with a lot of inserts, two drop legs, ton of pouches. If dropped into battlefield, shit would fall apart, no chance at running 10 miles comfy in that kit even at slow phase. Thats why we had 2 presets or some dudes had 3. Also CT tactix are shit to use on battlefield, it relies on surounding control. Its same as people train shitload amount of time on pistol just to realise its always intended to be backup weapon in military, or police compact gun. For my job it was clearing soviet suburbs from criminals in their small soviet built 2 room apartments where its so not much of space, even mp5 is big for that apartment
