Starlight Tea Concert || Musical Associates || August 24, 2024 || Lancaster Church of the Brethren

Musical Associates will kick off the 20th year of the Starlight Tea Concert Series on Aug. 24, at Lancaster Church of the Brethren.
The concert is entitled “Sacred Spaces.” Through music from the 15th century to the present, the concert explores how we experience different aspects of the sacred in physical, emotional, spiritual, and musical spaces. Emery DeWitt, who founded and directed this summer chamber chorus since 2003, has handed the reins to new Artistic Director Jon Clemens. Jon has participated with various musical organizations in the Lancaster community, including being a founding member of Musical Associates. With graduate degrees in music composition and theory, he currently is board president of Allegro Lancaster.
