While i was fighting bandits one of them screamed "ANNO CHEEKI BREEKI IV DAMKE" then full on charged me with a shotgun and killer me and i forgot to save so huge pain in the ass
But really though, to people who haven't played it the developers intended for an atmospheric RPG that took inspiration from Roadside Picnic. The actual game itself (ShOC at least) is actually quite humourless. so that's why people often add humor to it.
i grind for money in CS and suddenly (in the storyline) i got cheeki'ed by bandits, so i came back and kill them, and surprised that the only things that are recovered are the gear not the money
everybody falls to this trap my advice use the compas glitch later when you go to the red forest and find to compas artifact there is a glitch you can make forester give millions of vintars and you can simply go to the duty base that is nearby and sell them (after that buy an exo suit and go back swamps to find your original vintar by the train , repair it for no actualy reason its just a cool little easter egg)
Once i went into the yantar lab without the psi helmet protection. As i manage to stash huge amount of medkit,bandage,consumables n etc .i mnage to turn of the brain scorcher. Then I thought to myself in the second walkthrough,why the fuk i did not get the psi helmet in the first place,it would save a ton of medkit.Cant remember, could be the scientist that i have to guide died and quest glitch,maybe
If Kruglov dies, the Ecologists ship in an assistant that you can do the measurement quests with. If the assistant or Kruglov dies during the measurements, you get a slightly less effective Psi helmet.
Fré-Jan Wills those were illusions but yeah they were kinda creepy what was really creepy in the hole yantar place especially if you have played clear sky before shadow of chernobyl like i did (by simple luck) in clear sky this place had more life and at list some atalkers walking around in shadow of chernobyl its just a dead place
well i didnt say they were creepy but just look so good that actually they could pass as an nowadays npc, even though for an illusion i freaking hated them hahah. and well good for you actually i tried playing Cs but i actually hate it, even though i do quite got a feeling it has the best locations to play, and also more (except dark valley and garbage they bit weak.
