Really like the LED Device at the end telling them excatley when to stop the plane when there are in the correct position so the gangway wont even have to move all that much except towards the airliners door(s), and when it say STOP, it means stop and no furthur, its just like that device you can get for your garage at home which looks like a traffic signal and you creep yur car towards it and when it turns yellow means just a little furthur, then when it turns red, you stop.....These pilots who fly these 747's are so dang good.......

So therefore you don't play it like a game, but you simulate with it, you know ;)

This one, for example, goes ahead, floating in the air, with a device worth billions of dollars and with responsibility for hundreds of lives that they lead on that trip. Should they experience a failure... it would be the ONE and LAST one. What an ugly responsibility.

@@antoniospajic7440sometimes they dont disconnect the auto throttle , so they have to control speed from the autopilot panel , this is in Airbus and i think in Boeing too

Nice landing but done by the autopilot! Pilots just watched.
I don't think they used autoland during landing. At 0:30 you can see 'FD' on the Primary Flight Display, which means (if I'm not mistaken) that Autopilot is off. If AP was on, you'd see CMD or A/P in stead of FD.

Awesome to see the cockpit and landings but often the planes aren't so reassuring in terms of build and firmness and in general jetliners aren't the coolest looking. When I look at Star Wars etc. I get the idea of why jetliners get boring.

I hear it's quite a tough profession to break into. Maybe military flight duty (I don't know what country you are in or I would have said Air Force) and then civilian service.
Perseverance, Solomon, is what you need. Start thinking from now how can you get the money to pursue your career as a pilot. Even though it is an expensive career, don't get discouraged by that, as I'm sure there are many ways to get the money, such as loans, sponsoring and of course, starting to save as soon as you can. If you have the drive and motivation, I'm sure you will get anywhere you are aiming to. ;)

Are you sure that this is a 747-400? For me it looks more like a 747-8 :D
But this might be wrong :)
Yes, it is a 747-400F (look at the clock on the left side of the captain Primary Flight Display. There is no analogic clock in the 747-8 cockpit)

Its a 747-400ERF so the late versions of the 400, they had newer screens and avionics which are nearly identical to the -8F , I think they are on the same type rating (don't quote me)
Look at the gear lever. The 747-8 has a smaller gear lever than the 747-4

Packer fan93 in real its easy to control as a compare to fsx. In fsx hard to linup to the runway bcz of graphics
i can land little stuff good but when it comes to the big stuff thats when i have trouble

Huge difference. It would seem to me that Flight Sims are really for mechanics to make sure you know what you're doing. Actual flight is taking that same mechanics combined with actual "feeling" of flight. I don't fly, but I guess I can compare it to a Driving Simulator (or video game of driving) compared to actual Track Driving in the real world. I can feel the actual sensation of driving and how the car reacts to physics and react to it. You just can't get that in a simulator situation.

Its the t-cas and the gwps its a computer system that alerts the pilots about the planes nature such as altitude traffic etc
Computers monitor the altitude the plane is at, the computer is telling the pilot the altitude the plane is in.

what does "minimobs" mean
Yisrael H "what does "minimobs" mean" It's saying "Minimums." It means they're at the minimum altitude allowed if they don't have sight of the ground. If they were flying in instrument conditions and still couldn't see the runway at that point, they would be required to initiate a missed approach, and do a go-around or go to an alternate airport.
