dang i waiting to see if you was gonna say "about" how much you make monthly as a solo esthetician. i'm a nurse but i'm getting my NP degree now to become a medical aesthetic NP and i love watching these videos
I'm doing the opposite,I just graduated Aesthetician's school and I'm looking to become a medical Aesthetician. I have put alot of money out but from what I understand, it is fully worth it and I really enjoy the field. I am 2 weeks out the gate but good luck and I really appreciate this video and channel.🙋🏿♀️💯🥂
I just started esthetician school Monday! I’m so excited 😃 I’m debating after I graduate and become licensed should I work at a spa to get experience or start my own business. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you this is so helpful! I want to start my on my own after 4 years 😩 it's about time but unfortunately I would be starting from scratch. I started my business plan already I just don't feel like starting a business in the fall has much success... what do you think?
If I want to be an esthetician and massage therapist which one should I go to school for first? Also if I’m in college what would you suggest to major in. I want to own a spa right when I’m done with college, esthetician, and massage school.
I noticed the cavitation machine in the back or maybe that’s a microdermabrasion machine idk but can you show us how to use a cavitation machine and do you need a license for that?
Do you have a target audience or a special service you provide more often than others. And in addition to social media what other things do you do to market/advertise your business? What are your thoughts on selling your services on groupon
Main services are waxing and lash extensions. I mostly advertise on social media but word of mouth is the best for me, I offer 10% off if you refer a friend. And Groupon is a big no, you make very little money and most clients don’t return for full price because they are bargain hunters
This is the one I use www.amazon.com/Kaleurrier-Rolling-Adjustable-Anti-Fatigue-Ergonomic/dp/B07G98MPHV?pd_rd_w=MAaM6&pf_rd_p=90f236c2-064e-4f83-8e0f-15d69938bf43&pf_rd_r=8G936TBNN5080BP6J6E8&pd_rd_r=2860aaa4-2f8f-415a-b514-db4bd8df0afe&pd_rd_wg=wMOwN&pd_rd_i=B07G98MPHV&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_m_rp_1_sc
This is helpful but a little discouraging. It sucks that you have to pay that much monthly and makes me wonder if you end up making more than minimum wage after all this is subtracted. 🙁
@@amandajaime_29 I figured! Thank you, it just seems a little discouraging and hard to start, But I bet once you get regular clients, the fees pay themselves off. Anyway, love your videos, you’re super helpful!
@@amandajaime_29 of I may ask do you work fulltime? Im planning on opening my own wax bar but!! Since i have 2 small kids i wont be working fulltime, and still would love to make more than minimum wage or at least earning more then (€1000 what i make nownworking 20hr a week)

Awesome video. So happy I found your channel because I just enrolled into a esthetics program.
What are the steps of legalizing your business? Like what do you do first and how do you go about it with the Tax ID number, EIN etc?
So glad you’re back ! Missed you

so what percent a month do you take out for taxes?
I would consult a tax professional but it depends on how much you make, anywhere from 10-30%
